Customer Review Summary
Pizza is the dish diners return to most, with one reviewer calling it genuinely one of the best in the area and a regular saying they usually love it. Close behind are a pollo picante from the grill, prawns in a sauce with bread, and a roast with a heaped plate. Vegan diners praise the crispy cauliflower bowl and the Vegano al Forno pasta, and breakfast earns credit for its eggs and avocado and good value deal. Service is a steady theme, with reviewers describing friendly, attentive staff who check back repeatedly, and families note the place has always been kid friendly. Criticisms are minor. One roast came with a dry yorkie and potatoes that needed more seasoning, and one vegan diner waited a bit to be seated. A returning customer says slow food and small portions were problems before the new ownership. One reviewer joked about wanting extra roast potatoes, and the waitress brought them with the main meal.

“Since the new ownership things are waay better. We loved the place before but we were coming not as often as we wanted as it had a few issues. Food now comes way faster, it’s better and the portions are way bigger. Before we’d have to wait up to half an hour even if the place not as busy and some of the meals were too small or disappointing. The pizza is genuinely one of the best in the area. We really enjoy how kids friendly this place has always been. Perfect for Saturday brunch!”

“Jack's hospitality this afternoon was second to none. He checked on us several times throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed, and his attentive service really enhanced our experience. The food was also a noticeable improved compared to our recent visits. We'll definitely be back!”

“We recently held a baby shower for our friend in the private room at The Beech House. Firstly, the room is beautiful and I can’t believe there’s no hire fee. There is a curtain so we all hid in the room and we were able to surprise our friend - it was perfect. Secondly, the food was delicious and such good value. We did family style sharing and everyone enjoyed the food, but most of all it made my life easier as I didn’t have to take individual orders from everyone before. The team were so flexible and accommodating helping me plan a large group. They allowed us to come in early and decorate the room, kept up with the changing guest numbers, any food intolerances, and all my questions. Massive shout out to Amy in particular who was really helpful and friendly in the lead up via email, as well as on the day. Thank you so much again, no notes!”

“This is our go-to for a nice meal out. Usually we love their pizzas. Today i chose pollo picante from the grill section of the menu and it was lovely. As a starter i had the prawns and they were stunning. Beautifully cooked in a lovely sauce with gorgeous bread to accompany it. I always have good things to say about the beech house so definitely recommend. Lovely service a great atmosphere both when busy and when quiet. Also lovely outside area in the front which they’ve opened up more for summer.”

“Chose this place as it was child friendly for my friend's children. Lovely, relaxed vibe and clean tables. We had the roast which was heaped on to the plate and tasty. I joked that I was definitely getting extra roast potatoes, and our lovely waitress automatically added them so they arrived with the main meal. Meat and roasties were lovely, just a smidge more seasoning on the potatoes please, and the yorkie was dry but would still go back again. The reason I'm writing the review is for our wonderful waitress Leigh. So friendly, attentive, caring towards our friend's child and kept checking back on us. She was very chatty and lovely and is the epitome of good customer service, thank you!”
