  “Please don’t let the interior put you off! Seriously good food. My go to is king prawn king style, ginger and spring onion chicken. Amazing! Mushroom rice superb. And don’t get me started on the spring rolls! Highly recommend x”

  “When you're in a hurry, this place is great. Nice food and fast! Service is quick, friendly and efficient. Whilst there are better Chinese restaurants that do take away, not at this price and not without double the distance from home and parking to pay too.”

  “Our favourite delivery Chinese food. Always hot and fresh. In all the many years we've ordered from here, we've never been disappointed. My favourite every time is the Tom Yam soup”

  “Really disappointed with this place. I ordered just after they opened, so the food should’ve been fresh — instead it arrived dry, old, and honestly shocking. It tasted like it had been sitting around for ages. I rang to complain and the response was just “oh is it” repeated about five times, with zero effort to help or apologise. The customer service was as poor as the food. The prawn crackers were also stale. Strongly advise not to buy from here.”

  “When I moved to the area, I tried roughly 5/6 Chinese takeaways that are most local to me. This one was the best. Their special chow mein, chilli & honey chicken and salt and pepper chips are unmatched. Pleasent staff as well, always greeted with a smile. Wish they'd open the restaurant for sit in/ buffet!”

  “Ordered £50 worth of food tonight the crispy roast duck was soft and did not have a good flavour chips were stale everything else tasted horrible I think it was old oil being used! everything left a horrible taste in my mouth I had a couple things and stopped eating it and I dont feel too good this is the worst chinese I've ever had unfortunately I never leave a bad review but I had i have to say the delivery man was really nice but that doesn't make up for the poor food”

  “Terrible Delivery Time and Disappointing Food Ordered from Oriental Garden on Delivery at 6:30 PM, and our food didn’t arrive until 9:10 PM—a ridiculous 2.5-hour wait! I was left with two starving young children, which is completely unacceptable. No updates or apologies for the delay. The food itself wasn’t even worth the wait—nothing special at all. I’ve had much better Chinese takeaways in Basingstoke that were both faster and tastier. I will never order from here again and definitely do not recommend this place. Avoid if you want your food on time!”

  “For many years we have enjoyed this Chinese restaurant. However last week we noticed a marked difference in quality of food and portion sizes. Smaller chicken balls. Very little chicken in chicken fried rice and hardly any egg in egg fried rice!! Is there a change of staff/management? Not sure I’ll be going again.”
