“The quest for a good Chinese in Basingstoke continues. I have yet to find my favourite Chinese spot since moving here over the past year. I was looking forward to trying this one out. But oh gosh, it was so disappointing. The starter deep fried ribs was BATTER upon BATTER covering bony ribs with absolutely no bits of meat on it, and when eating the next day, the batter tasted like vomit. It did look or taste fresh AT ALL. The Singapore fried rice was okay but nothing special. The prawn and chive dumpling filling tasted and smelt off. So disappointed. I even feel nauseous after eating it today. Will not go back. Will continue to find the ultimate Chinese spot, but for now, this is a no from me.”
