Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the dietary menus, with a separate vegan menu, extensive vegetarian choices and a full gluten-free menu all drawing praise. One gluten-free diner liked that the dish arrived with a small flag marking it as an allergy item. Close behind are the tapas, where the trio is called excellent value with a good portion size, and the burgers, described as great. Others single out the churros with chocolate dipping sauce, pulled beef tacos, halloumi fries, and a nasi goreng and duck pancake that one diner from Hong Kong called surprisingly legit. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and efficient, and drinks arrive quickly. The caveats are modest. One reviewer found the noodles with cauliflower small and expensive for the portion, and a vegan diner called the food good without being spectacular and found the complimentary water jug empty on a hot day. One reviewer describes staff setting out decorations on the table for a graduation meal, and another had a passion fruit martini tweaked to be extra sour.

“Nasi Goreng and duck pancake in this cafe are surprisingly legit and it is coming from me , an asian, specifically from hong kong. that alone is worth 5/5 star given its location.”

“Popped in on bank holiday Monday in the early afternoon. My wife and I are vegan. There is a separate vegan menu. Food is good without being spectacular. It was a hot day and the complimentary water jug was empty. All-in-all I am a fan of this chain of restaurants as I know there will be something on the menu I can eat.”

“Excellent service from two lovely bartenders, Ollie & Daryl. Friendly, concise, polite and helpful. Had a Lounge Breakfast and my friend had the halloumi fries, thank you Chef’s! Cooked beautifully, piping hot and delicious! All arrived promptly with 2 perfect Passion Fruit martinis. One was tweaked to my preference of being extra sour which was executed beautifully. Good job Clio lounge ❤️”

“Fab fab fab. Highly recommend. Have had avo and egg toast in the Llandudno Lounge several times and today I had pulled beef tacos, pancakes and the pink juice and it was amazing! Coffee is nice and smooth and various milk options. My parents had the curry and tapas. Great tapas portion size and they were very happy with their choices and would recommend the 3 tapas option, maybe to share between 2 with a side”

“Had a great burger meal and drinks here. A good choice of tables with no wait or booking required. Very friendly and efficient staff. Drinks came particular quickly and food not much longer. Would recommend and will eat here next time we're in Bangor.”
