About Harbour Table Table
Harbour Table Table is a family restaurant in Caernarfon on Doc Fictoria, beside a blue flag marina, with seats that look out over the harbour. The menu covers pub classics, including lasagne with garlic bread and a side salad, burgers such as the Cowboy burger, and fish and chips. Nachos and chicken wings are among the starters, Korean chicken fries add a modern twist, and a dessert menu closes the meal. The team takes orders at the table, and tables can be booked. A braille menu is available for blind and partially sighted guests, and dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise friendly staff and reasonably priced food, with a family meal beside the harbour as the usual setting. One diner found the Korean chicken fries small but delicious, another called it good value for a family evening meal on a budget, and a first-time visitor found the food of a high standard. A returning guest felt the prawn and chicken wing starters were smaller than on earlier visits. The criticism centres on the kitchen and the pace of service. Several describe slow service even when the restaurant was quiet, including a long wait for dessert that was then handed over with an attitude. Orders went wrong in specific ways: nachos with cold cheese sauce arrived alongside the mains, a cowboy burger came with gherkins that were simply removed from the same plate, another burger was called the driest one ever, and the fish and chips had hard, oily batter. One reviewer says burnt chicken was taken back and returned with the burnt sections cut away.

“Never again, ridiculously slow! Tuesday 8 people inside, 3 tables busy 7 empty but you have to wait 8min for someone to come to the waiting area and hear "alright?" - nice welcome 🤦🏻 Once they find you a table you are not allowed to make an order "just one second" 12min later he finally came back to take an order, so 20min from walking in to making order! Another 20min to get my starter, drink was not served so had to remind them about it... An hour to get my main. Food quality pretty standard for premier inn restaurant, wasn't happy with fish and chips, although the fish meat was good the batter wasn't, thin batter but hard and oily at the same time, had to remove it. Due to my job I visit premier inns all around the UK and I rarely leave reviews but this one just deserves it.”

“Can't fault the food for a fast casual restaurant. It was well presented, tasty and good value. Service was a little slow and the decor is starting to look worn, but for a family evening meal on a budget it ticks all the boxes.”

“This would have been a 3 Star review, but the staff made it a 2, so well done to them. Ordered Nachos as a starter, Cowboy burger and a lasagne, this was after they didn’t have Strongbow cider available! For some reason, the starter came out with the mains 😳 Didn’t ask it to come out then, we were expecting it as a starter. The cheese sauce was cold, told the server this and the same plate came back with more cheese sauce on which was warm. Suppose to have no pickles or gherkins on my burgers. Guess what, had gherkins on it. Only found out after I had started to eat the burger and fries. Told the server this, took the plate away, 2 mins later comes back, same plate with them removed! Oh, no crispy onions either, just red salad onions! No apology or anything from the staff, and the people in the kitchen need to learn how to follow simple instructions. It’s really not difficult!”

“Service wasn't great. When we finished our food, we were left waiting a long time for dessert (and we had places to be). It wasn't until one of us got up and asked did staff finally bring desert over. They didn't even apologise, just handed dessert over with an attitude and left (Mind you, the restaurant wasn't busy). The food wasn't that impressive either. Mine tasted like it came straight out of the freezer and popped in the microwave. My sister said she was served literally the driest burger she had ever tasted. The atmosphere wasn't too bad, though. We had a lovely view of the harbour while a seagull was busy eating someone's chips while their backs were turned.”

“Nice lunch with parents today. Bit disappointed with the size of the starters of prawns and chicken wings. Last time the portions were bigger. Also Korean chicken fries were very small albeit delicious. Service by Nicola and Menna excellent as always.”
