Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the staff, describing them as friendly, welcoming and helpful, and several credit the team with looking after whole parties. The pub's function space is the main draw for celebrations, with reviewers holding a wedding reception, a 50th and a 60th birthday party there and praising the decorating and the buffet. The Sunday Roast is called the best one reviewer has had, and close behind are a homemade pie, the Tuesday steak deal, and good beer and real ale. Several overnight guests parked a motorhome in the car park, one through BritStops, and one felt safe staying there. Live music after a meal and a full, lively pub on World Cup match day also come up. No reviewer raises a complaint. One reviewer's 93 year old mum asked to book the pie for her birthday, and a training group says it will return for its Christmas party.

“I visited The Foresters in Bagshot for the first time today, despite passing it almost daily for 10 years. Why haven't I discovered their good beer and excellent food before!”

“We rang ahead to see if we could park our motorhome in their car park overnight and have a meal. They were really accommodating and friendly on the phone but also warned us that there would be many people there because England was playing in the World Cup. They were right! The pub was full and there were at least 3 televisions to watch the match on. We had plenty of space to park the motorhome for the night. The staff were really friendly and they had real ale. We had dinner there which was good.”

“We recently held our wedding reception at The Foresters Arms and it was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff were nothing short of amazing — friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in making our day special. They went above and beyond by decorating the whole pub beautifully for us, creating such a warm and magical atmosphere that perfectly suited the celebration. We felt incredibly welcome right away, and the team looked after us and all our guests so well throughout the entire evening. The service was brilliant — attentive, efficient, and delivered with a smile the whole time. The food was outstanding”
