Customer Review Summary
Reviewers split between praise for the Chinese takeaway and the fish and chips, with the Chinese food mentioned most. Several describe it as hot, fresh and fairly priced, and one calls it the best Chinese takeaway in a long time, produced during a power cut. Free prawn crackers and fortune cookies get a mention, as does neat boxing in good containers. One long-time customer says orders were iffy before the business changed hands but have been perfect since. Fish and chips draw mixed views. One diner calls the fish the best in a long time, while another found it undercooked and mushy, with batter like an over floured, under cooked Yorkshire pudding mix, though the chips were nice. A reviewer rates the Chinese as either great or at best average and suggests sticking with the popular options. The sharpest complaint comes from a customer whose food was so bad it was thrown away, with phone complaint excuses and no replacement or refund offered. Another found the chicken curry missing the rice they had ordered with it.

“I’m a Taiwanese from Australia, it is probably one of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in this area (especially just came back from East Kensington) ,not only the flavor and quality, but also the price, the price is incredible fair!!!! Everything was neat and carefully boxed in good containers, I have ordered from there 2 times in 1 week, and will order again!”

“Good food and reasonably priced. Parking can be a problem as on the A41 through Waddesdon but there are sometimes a couple spaces outside or some side streets to park in to collect your food. Telephone orders welcome but no delivery service that I know of. Very friendly service and some fish in a tank😁”

“Best Chinese takeaway we've had for a long time, and produced during a power cut, when our hotel could not offer anything. Well done!”

“My food was so bad I had to throw it away. I live too far away to return it. I phoned to complain, plenty of poor excuses though no offer of replacement or refund. I have demanded a refund when I am next in the area. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.”

“We just had fish and chips for dinner and it was the best fish we’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be going back, thanks :)”
