  “Had a great meal at Miller & Carter tonight. A big shout-out to Ish, who looked after us all evening. He was really friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down.   “We had a fantastic family meal to celebrate an 18th birthday. The whole team were very helpful and professional and Ish was our server who could not do enough for us, had a wonderful attitude and went out of his way to make our experience so positive. What I especially liked was that Ish interacted with the children within the group and gave them the confidence to order for themselves. We were a group of 16 and the food all came out in good time, every aspect was catered for including gluten free and children's menu. The food was superb and the kitchen team did a fantastic job ... We rang the bell. Thank you all for making my Daughter's 18th Family Meal perfect and exactly what she wanted.”

  “I had my dinner at the Miller And Carter at Ashton Under Lyne. I was served by Angela. She was very polite, courteous and attentive. Angela assisted with the menu when I was asking questions, she was very knowledgeable and helped with my choices. The chocolate brownie and ice cream were amazing, which unfortunately I eat too quickly and forgot to photograph it! 😋Thank you. Highly recommend!”

  “My family had a lovely meal here today. My son is autistic and they were very accomodating about allowing us to have a table in a quiet part of the restaurant. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly and they even accommodated the adaptations for my sons meal. Our waiter today was Ish and he was wonderful. Extremely helpful and friendly and such a lovely, genuine guy.”

  “It was a Friday night and I’ve never been to miller and carter before, but the atmosphere was lovely straight away! Got treated like royalty from the minute we walked in- the service was amazing, Sinead went above and beyond- she was fantastic! The best steak I have ever eaten hands down (get the Wagyu)! Every bit of food was gorgeous. We ate loads. The desserts were also absolutely gorgeous. We are already planning our next trip there.”

  “Midweek sole dinner experience due to being away with work. Initial impressions were nice ambiance yet only about third full. Asked for a quiet table which initially was respected but very soon I found myself surrounded by couples. Asked if I could be moved upon which was told the only table on offer was where I was…..mindful being only third full. Ordered the small ribeye which did taste good except for the three mouthfuls of grizzle. All in all not too bad experience but wouldn’t be happy if I wasn’t claiming the cost back on expenses.”

  “We booked a table for 2 for 8pm but arrived a little early but we was seated immediately even though the restaurant was busy. You know what you’re getting at Miller and Carter - A quality cooked steak! The restaurant is larger than it looks and is decorated with bull images, leather looking chairs and wooden tables. Upbeat music was playing which added to the energy. We had the halloumi and king prawns for starters. The halloumi was cooked so well, a brow crisp on the outside and soft centre served with plenty of chilly jam. The paws were huge, juicy and served with a delicious garlic butter and amazingly easy to remove the shell. For main I had the T Bone which was huge, juicy and cooked medium rare as recommended, it didn’t disappoint. I had a side of triple cooked chips and lobster mac and cheese. I didn’t expect there to be much lobster in the mac but there was plenty. The service was great (Maggie looked after us and made you we had all we needed),, food fantastic and we left full and satisfied. 5 stars”
