  “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic experience—Leroy was brilliant!We went to Miller & Carter last night and had an absolutely brilliant time. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is great—it manages to feel upscale and moody for a proper night out, without being stuffy or uncomfortable.The food was spot-on across the board. Every course was beautifully cooked, bursting with flavour, and served piping hot. You can really tell they take pride in what comes out of the kitchen.What truly made the night, though, was our server, Leroy. The restaurant was completely packed out, but he handled it like an absolute pro. He was incredibly attentive, kept our drinks topped up, and had a warm, genuine attitude that made us feel completely looked after from start to finish. Outstanding service can really elevate a meal, and Leroy nailed it.It’s definitely a premium night out, but for the quality of the food and the top-tier hospitality, it’s worth every penny. We will absolutely be back.”

  “We came for our anniversary, and from start to finish it was amazing. We had Lexi and honestly she was amazing, we had a few small issues but she sorted them straight away with no hassle at all. She was full of genuine conversation which we personally love instead of the boring 'go to' conversation a lot of waiters have. Thank you for a lovely evening!”

  “Had an absolutely wonderful first time here, took my friend here for her Birthday meal and we absolutely loved that meal, I gotta say though I loved our server even more! "Noah" gave us a wonderful experience, he was lively, funny and overall just the best. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because honestly this was a 20/10 experience.”

  “Celebrated my birthday here last night and had an amazing time. Lucas was our server and he was outstanding! Was very informative about allergens and kept us informed. Great service, attentive and patient with the table. Good chat as well!! Exemplary customer service for sure! 3rd time I’ve had a celebratory meal here and will definitely return☺️”

  “The steak was really delicious and Had a great experience at Miller & Carter. A special shoutout to Lexi, who helped me choose the perfect steak, and it did not disappoint. Easily one of the best steaks I’ve had around here. What really stood out was the service. Lexi was incredibly friendly and kept checking in, which made a big difference, especially since it was my first time in town. Great place, amazing food, and exceptional service. Would definitely recommend!”

  “If you’re serious about steak, this place is on another level. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels refined but not intimidating—perfect balance between upscale dining and comfort. The service is genuinely outstanding; the staff know their cuts, guide you properly, and make the whole experience seamless. Now the important part: the steak. I ordered a ribeye cooked medium, and it was absolutely spot on—perfect sear on the outside, juicy and tender inside, with that rich, buttery flavor you only get from high-quality beef. You can really tell they focus on sourcing and preparation. It’s not just steak, it’s craftsmanship. The sides were just as impressive (especially the beef-dripping chips), and everything came out at the right time without feeling rushed. What stands out most is consistency—this isn’t a one-time lucky experience. Many diners repeatedly describe the food as “outstanding” and the service as “exceptional,” which says a lot about their standards.  Yes, it’s on the pricier side—but you’re paying for quality, and in this case, it’s completely justified. 👉 Final verdict: If you want a perfectly cooked, tender steak (especially medium), this is easily one of the best spots in Manchester. Excellent service by Violet and a great overall experience. A slight improvement in restroom cleanliness would make it perfect.””
