Customer Review Summary
Reviewers describe a friendly, welcoming local pub where the atmosphere is the main draw, with several praising the lively buzz on a Friday night and strangers striking up conversations. Close behind are the drinks, called good and reasonably priced, with beers, lagers and spirits on offer alongside pub games and sport on the television. Staff and the owner come in for repeated praise, one reviewer saying the owner welcomes everyone in as if it were his own home. Others describe the inside as beautifully decorated, cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a mix of ages and locals. The recurring trade-off is that it gets quite busy at weekends, though one reviewer adds it is not too riotous. One notes the outside could do with a face lift to match the inside, and another points out that no food is served. One reviewer who held a funeral gathering there says staff were very helpful and let a mourner vape indoors.

“Really lively on a Friday night. Great buzz. Friendly atmosphere. I had lots of random people just starting up conversations. Good drinks. Great for a bar to go on to after a drink to start the evening.”

“Attended my nephews funeral after service. They were very helpful on the day, they even let my nephews mother smoke her vape in doors. Which was a great thing to do in todays world of rules. Would definitely use them again, although preferably over better circumstances. R.I.P Eddie, your memory will now forever by on here for all to see.”
