  “A lovely lunch on the back of a kind recommendation from a local shopkeeper. The main town was busy with tourists, so fish & chips was out of the question. Glad we headed here instead. Delicious!”

  “Fantastic lunch in the outside area. Arrived just on 3.e0pm when service ended but we were allowed to order, and ad we did as food was excellent.....great leg of lamb roast and chicken pesto pasta. Will definitely be back!”

  “Really average Menu changed since we booked, ok that happens Ordered the special to wait 30 mins and then be told the sauce wasn't available anymore.... We were eating at 1pm how do you run out of bisque? But that happens Food served up was just average, like the chef just didn't care. Room is small and like a coffee shop with very loud coffee machine in corner. My dessert was toffee pudding.... Came out with oil on the plate? Did the sauce spilt? I don't know how you make it oily and taste burnt. Just disappointing View was great”

  “Recommend by sister and ahe was correct! The food was fantastic, and enjoyed eating in an amazing environment. Fiod with a view. There was 20 of us eating . Half selected thr two for £20 menue and the rest had the special 'roast dinner' beef or lamb and thos was .....perfect. Best gravy i have tasted. Good size portions too. And the bonus was we could park too, whicjcan be difficult at times in Ansteuthet. We qill return. A must to visot ifnyou can! 👍👌”

  “This is a cracking restuarant attached to Anstruther golf club. The course is a wee cracker, quirky and with some challenging holes. The food in the restuarant is fab, so much so, I had my 60th birthday celebrations there 4 years ago. Staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful.”

  “Rockies is a hidden gem, tucked away from the main street of Anstruther, 10mins walk from the front. The views from the restaurant across to the harbour are lovely. The food is as good as anything you'll get in any fancy restaurant, service was friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed our meal and will recommend it to anyone visiting this part of Fife. 2nd Visit in July 2025, again faultless food that was amazing, love this place 5✨”

  “We came here for dinner and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The food was outstanding — the mussels were probably the best we’ve ever had, with a divine sauce that we’re still thinking about. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh, especially the fish and seafood. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for! Service was super friendly and top-notch. And to top it all off, there’s a beautiful view of the Bay of Anstruther from the windows. Highly recommended!”

  “Our local fish man in Glasgow, Craig, recommended we book. Did not disappoint. One of the best meals in a long time. New chef Ollie in place as of 18th Sept 20. Definitely worth booking ahead to ensure you get table. We loved it.”
