About Mozza - St Andrews
Mozza - St Andrews is a restaurant that makes Neapolitan pizza and nothing else, with a single style running through the whole menu. Every pizza is wood fired, and a pizzaiolo cooks each one in just 60 seconds, so a pizza leaves the oven in under a minute. That focus means a visit here comes down to Neapolitan pizza from a wood-fired oven, with the pizzaiolo handling the cooking. The restaurant sits at 39 Bell St in St Andrews.

Customer Review Summary
The harsher reviews are about service. One table waited a long time for pizzas that arrived cold, while a family of seven found no kids' menus upstairs, had a drinks order forgotten and had a spilled Coke ruin the children's books. Both described staff who seemed disengaged and no manager on the floor. One Uber Eats order arrived far past its quoted time, and the person on the phone refused to accept responsibility for the delivery.

“Do not order on Uber Eats. We placed an order today, which showed a 20-30 minute delivery time, and after waiting over 1 hour for delivery, we called the restaurant for an update (the Uber Eats app encouraged us to this, as the restaurant were the party who were responsible for the actual delivery). The man on the phone told us there was absolutely no way they were responsible for delivering to us, and that Uber Eats must send a driver to collect and deliver. This directly contradicted the information shown in the app (I have added screenshots to this review). He was not willing to help whatsoever and would not accept any responsibility.”

“We arrived on Sunday evening after wandering around looking for something casual for dinner. We came across this nice looking pizza places and decided to pop in for dinner - worst mistake that we made. The young lady with the dark hair who seated us was lovely and attentive to us and seated us in a nice window seat. She came around 10 minutes later after we had looked at the menu and took our drinks order, we were ready to order food too and she told us she’d be back for that. Around 20 minutes later, our drinks arrived, the restaurant started to get busier and the service started to become strained. Our drinks arrived and we told the girl we were ready to order food, she came back and went to other tables and took their orders. She eventually took our order at around 7.30pn and our food arrived at 8.10pm - something quick and casual turned into a time consuming mayhem as a result of the lack of staff experience on dealing with a restaurant with people (not busy), walk ins for take away and deliveries. It appeared that the walk in and deliveries got a quicker service and as a result the restaurant customers suffered. The three tables next to us all questioned the time the food was taking and we were told that all pizzas were coming out together even although the orders were processed separately with time in between. The food arrived and it was cold to touch, by this time, we were more hungry and were now fed up with the service. It appears that the young staff in the restaurant need some training, The blonde girl was rude when we spoke about the length of time the food took. It appears there is no man management or structure in the organisation of the running of the restaurant. We won’t be back here unfortunately and I would avoid at all costs”
