Customer Review Summary

Fish and chips is the most frequent draw, with reviewers describing the fish as fresh and meaty, the batter as light and crispy, and the chips as hot, served with tartar sauce and fresh peas. Close behind are the sea view and friendly, quick staff, with outdoor tables mentioned in good weather. The ice cream gets repeated praise for its variety of flavours, including Scottish and traditional ones, while others single out the full breakfast with haggis, bacon rolls, jacket potato and macaroni cheese. One reviewer found the flat white a bit milky, though still very good, and another calls the coffee great. Some caveats recur around cost and availability. One calls it good but expensive, and another reports a milkshake that arrived watery and melted in a latte glass, alongside a long wait for an English breakfast and pancakes that came out cold. On a Sunday afternoon, fish was sold out, so one diner switched to scampi and enjoyed it, though the lack of any beer was a big disappointment.

“Went in past for some ice cream with my daughter during our walk along the beach in the morning. Love the flavour selections they have, such a great variety and it tastes delicious 😋 Definitely worth a visit.”

“I had been in once before and the service and food was lovely. This time it took 40 minutes for an English breakfast and pancakes to be served. I ordered a milkshake for £7 and it came watery and melted in a latte glass. Service was poor, food was cold and not worth the money spent. There are much better cafes on the beachfront.”
  • Aleksandra Kukulska
“Great location with sea view. Unfortunatelly fish was sold out on Sunday afternoon so I went for scampi. It was good choice and I enjoyed it. Unfortuanatelly no beers avaiavbe at all what was big dissapointment.”
