About The Justice Mill
The Justice Mill is a pub on Union Street in the city centre of Aberdeen, with its entrance directly on the street. The long interior holds plenty of seating. Breakfast is served, and a three small plates deal suits anyone who wants several smaller dishes in place of one main. The wider menu includes pizzas, steak, and scampi and chips with mushy peas, and real ales are poured at the bar. Orders can go through an app or by scanning a code on the menu with your phone. Bar service runs alongside, and staff come over to check you are being served. The pub takes its name from an aspect of local history.

Customer Review Summary
Service from the bar staff is what reviewers raise most, describing the bar crew as friendly, attentive and welcoming. One visitor says a bartender turned a poor view of the Wetherspoon chain into a new local for after work drinks. Food comes next, with scampi and chips with mushy peas, Wiltshire ham and egg, a medium rare steak, the breakfast and the pizzas all singled out as tasty, fresh and good value. Several call it cheap and cheerful. The long, spacious interior is lively on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons, yet one reviewer found a table quickly and another calls it quiet and easy to chat in. On the downside, one reviewer feels prices are creeping up, and another notes there is no parking outside because the entrance opens onto the street. Ordering through the app is called very swift, and one visitor notes extra staff came over to check they had been served.

“I have to admit, I’ve always had fairly negative views of JD Wetherspoon due to some poor experiences I’ve had at other branches over the years. However, my visit to the Justice Mill completely changed that opinion. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome, and the service we received from Camilla behind the bar was absolutely outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, professional and an absolute credit to the team. It’s rare that one person can completely change your perception of a business, but she genuinely did just that. Thanks to the warm welcome and excellent service, I’ve found my new local. Safe to say our after work drinks will be moving to the Justice Mill from now on. Thank you, Camilla, for such a great experience.”
