  “Stopped in for a quick half as my son lives around the corner. My wife spotted a really nice looking orange pen on the bar and made me ask the two barstaff if I could buy it from them. They laughed and gave me 2 of them for free. 🤣 Said they had a boxful of them. Planning on going back and trying the food as if it's half as good as the service and friendliness of Michelle and Jayden, it should be excellent. Thanks ladies, you made my wife's day.”

  “booked a table on there website for the england norway game. got three seats facing the pool table which we werent sitting in. luckily we got three others free. all good until midnight where they shut the bar just in time for extra time. i know they have rules but if you advertise seating for a game at least take into consideration of extra time. the bar was full and everyone was told you had to leave right before extra time. dont get the reasoning and the barmaid was quite rude just stating not her fault and to blame your local authorities. proper shambles and i wont be watching anymore football here and will advise others against it also.”

  “I highly recommend the Holburn bar! I have recently celebrated my engagement party there, and they have been very helpful and supportive from the start until the end of our project. The waiters have been super nice, I had a few compliments on the kindness of the staff from my friends who attended the party. They have been very arranging for every little details we wanted to make this moment as memorable as possible. I only have good things to say about this bar.🤩 The food was lovely as well! You should definitely go there!”

  “We booked the Holburn function room for a work event where we had a limited budget and have been pleased with the whole experience. The space is large so suitable for a variety of events. Staff have been friendly and helpful throughout making the whole process easy and stress free. Cannot comment on food for this occasion but previously when I have been at the venue it has been great and good value for money. Staff on the night were experienced and kept checking in to ensure everything was going to plan. Would recommend for anyone looking for a function venue.”

  “Jayden and michele provide a five star service at the holburn bar. They pour mazing pints with a big smile on there face. Would recommend to rugby players and old folk. Also can you compliment my G split please?xx”

  “It’s heard to rate the service as most of the service is either you coming to the bar to order or order via the app. Due to that we didn’t get to experience any service as such to comment on it. The food was decent, we both felt like the chicken and the beef in the burger was slightly overcooked. There are plenty of different deals on the menu which means that it can be relatively cheap. Moving onto the atmosphere, standard pub atmosphere, plenty of TVs around to watch sports. The menu is sticky and the tables are too, sofas at the tables have a lot of crackling on the leather so doesn’t look great. The tables have protective layers peeling as well. Pets are allowed inside no problem.”

  “First time in 41 years since I've been here. Very busy bar with great atmosphere. Friendly bar. Service was great by Neil, Lewis and a wee waitress(michelle) running around. Great pub food served hot. Lots of tv screens and pool tables. Excellent.”

  “i ordered a rare steak today but it came out burnt and well cooked, asked the staff in a kind manner to see if it can be fixed and said sorry for being and issue he went back with the dish, but you know what chefs and bar staff are like behind closed doors when they don't want to deal with costumers so he came back saying the chef said it's okay because it is rare, rare is meant to be pink and raw in the middle, this clearly isn't, couldn't finish half of it because it was burnt too”

  “I run a pool club here at the holburn bar for adults with support needs. The staff, the manager and everything connected to this bar is fantastic. The staff are friendly, helpful and supportive of this club. The manager Paddy has made everything possible. I would recommend this bar for all types of visits, business, personal, family, solo x Thanks for everything guys xxx”
