  “We came here yesterday for my son's birthday, and overall it was a great experience. The food was excellent, the service was on point, and the property is beautiful. We usually go to Mastro's or Eddie V's for birthdays, but wanted to try something different this year, and we definitely weren't disappointed. That said... the guy running the valet needs to be fired We got there a few minutes before our 5:00 reservation, so the restaurant was just starting to get busy. I drive a large truck, so I politely asked the valet if I could park it myself. I even told him I was happy to pay the valet fee, I just prefer to park my own vehicle. The valet who greeted us smiled and said, "No problem." Then, out of nowhere, another guy came running over and started yelling at us to "get out of here" "go park on the street" because "we don't do that here." It went from a normal conversation to this guy acting like we had just committed a crime. He kept yelling, got rude with my wife, and made a huge scene over what was literally a simple request. I believe he even started crying at one point. I've honestly never seen someone get so worked up over something so minor. It felt like he was on the verge of a full-blown meltdown over a six-dollar valet request. It was bizarre, embarrassing, and completely unnecessary. For a minute, I thought this guy was going to ruin my son's birthday before we even made it through the front door. Thankfully, once we got inside, everything completely turned around. The staff inside was fantastic, the food was outstanding, and the evening ended up being great. I would absolutely come back, but management really needs to take a hard look at whoever is running the valet. He's the first person guests interact with, and his behavior was completely out of line with the quality of the restaurant. It also seems we aren't the first group he has done this to...”

  “Every anniversary my husband and I like to try a different upscale steakhouse. We were so excited. The atmosphere was nice, the food was great but the service was not great. Dinner was served snd we asked for more bread and no one ever brought it. We had to flag someone down to bring it. We also ran out water. Everyone else around us were getting refills but somehow we kept getting skipped. No one came back to check on us throughout the dinner. This was really a special night for us, our 28th anniversary and we were so disappointed with the service we got. I don't think that we will be trying this place again. Great service is a necessity, especially when we are spending that much money . Not impressed.”

  “We recently visited Brenner’s for my birthday. The food was exceptional. Everything from the drinks to the dessert was fabulous. Our server was extremely attentive to us, and we made reservations and got a great table. My only disappointment was that we seated near the door going to the patio area and there was an excess of flies that were coming in. Some of them kept landing on our table and at one point got on one of the appetizers we ordered. The server was notified that there was a fly, the server apologize, but there was no real solution. All in all I would say that Brenner’s is an exceptional experience.”

  “Dear Brenner's on the Bayou Team, My family and I recently celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Brenner's on the Bayou, and I wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for making this milestone so incredibly special. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. Our waiter, Terrid Lewis, provided exceptional service to our family of ten. He was attentive, kind, professional, and made every one of us feel valued and cared for throughout the evening. The wonderful service, the genuine smiles, and the laughter we shared made our celebration unforgettable.   “My husband and I came here to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. The woodys environment did not disappoint for our traditional gift for 5 years of "wood". The restraunt is beautiful with lots of outdoor space and a lovely ambiance of the bayou. The service was wonderful, we had two servers and never had to ask for a thing. They also surprised us at the end with a sweet treat. The food was okay. My husband had the wagyu at $175 we expected it to be exceptional, but it was fine. He recently had Del Frisco's and said it was much better in the way it was cooked and seasoned, he gets medium rare. I had the lobster tail market value at $150, it was very disappointing. It was literally just boiled lobster. Zero seasoning, and the butter was just melted butter, when it said browned. It was also very tough and difficult to cut. The green beans and au gratine potatoes were just fine. For fine dinning I expect the green beans to be snipped at the ends. We had the Fifa cocktail and a tequila agave pineapple cocktail. Both were lovely. I would go again just for the drinks and patio, but I would not dine here again.”

  “My wife made a reservation for my birthday celebration and we were placed with Rashad. Excellent recommendations and well versed on menu choices. Service was always top notch and never missed a beat on keeping drinks full and checking on us. Food had an amazing taste full of flavor and very fulfilling. Recommend trying this restaurant if you’re in the area and ask for Rashad!”

  “We had a wonderful experience at Brenner’s Steakhouse on the Bayou for our Fathers Day celebration, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was beautiful and welcoming, but what really made the visit exceptional was the outstanding service. Eddie went above and beyond to ensure our first visit was memorable. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating throughout our meal. We had some specific dietary needs and preferences, and Eddie and the manager worked seamlessly with the kitchen to adjust the menu so that my boyfriend and I were comfortable and well taken care of. His attention to detail and genuine care made all the difference. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and personal, and Eddie and management struck that balance perfectly. They checked in at all the right moments, made thoughtful recommendations, and created an experience that felt special and effortless. We left feeling thoroughly impressed and grateful for such a great first experience. We will definitely be returning, thanks in large part to the exceptional service we received.”

  “We truly enjoyed our evening. Mr. Alex T was a personable and friendly customer service provider. He’s very knowledgeable and a simple treat. It’s very hard to pull off a well done steak and somehow they performed that miracle of a juicy well done filet mignon. The atmosphere is calm and beautiful, I truly enjoyed my experience. I will definitely return.”

  “Went for a work function, so my experience was a bit different than standard dining. The valet and service were all excellent. The food was supurb. I don't know the cost so I can't contrast the value. I would expect to pay about $50 a plate, plus sides and drinks.”
