  “I was able to walk in and sit at the bar on a rainy weekday, and it was a very cozy experience! Liked the burger a good bit and really enjoyed nestling into this spot.”

  “Bright and airy modern bistro as described at Open table which is complete opposite. Food is alright, interesting like the cod on lentil curry sauce though not memorable or enticing you to come back again. A tad heavy on the salty side like the tenderloin with can’t recall the name of the veggies. 🥦 was hoping for a nice date dinner but I just want it to be done and out and go somewhere else to enjoy a cocktail and enjoy a better ambiance.”

  “I went here today for lunch and had the omelette and the “kiss tastes like” cocktail. The cheese on the omelette was beautiful and definitely real cheese! The vinaigrette on the salad was delicious! The cocktail was delicious with tequila and a bit of a kick without being overpowering. The staff and locals were very friendly and I had a lovely time chatting with them. On a more personal note while I was waiting to get in, there was someone behaving very entitled and rude to the waitress working there. She dealt with it perfectly despite his threats to leave a negative review. After having a browse of your page I can see you stand behind your staff and as someone who has worked in customer service I really appreciate that and think it is great. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area for the customer service alone.”

  “Five stars all around. Hostess was so friendly and gave me a table (walk-in) in less than half the time she told me I’d have to wait. On top of the friendly service, the French toast is DELICIOUSSS!!!!! The restaurant is so cute and the area in west village is nice. Thank you!!!”

  “I really enjoyed dining here. The hostess and waiter were very nice and friendly. He recommended the cauliflower and the burger. Both of which were delicious. Ended dinner with some tea and the banoffee - so good! I’ll definitely be coming back here.”

  “The space is very small, with tiny tables both inside and out. You don't get any aesthetic pleasure from the design—there simply isn't any. They lure you in with the menu on their website but fail to update it; you make your choice and arrive, only to find that what you wanted isn't actually available. It’s a different season.”

  “Watched three guys attempt to "cook" in a teeny tiny kitchen. They don't have much skill to be honest. Pieces of plain bread with a circle of goat cheese. That's an appetizer. A 'salad' of salami, provolone, and fava beans. Really uninspiring. Nothing tasted like it was made with love or came from high quality ingredients. Thomas' English muffins.... I could literally buy those for $3 at the bodega and make a sandwich myself. It's just not a great restaurant. This place does, however, have a nice bartender. They can pour alcohol. :-) The staff are nice generally. No issues there. But the buyer/manager who actually orders the food? The chef who is in charge of the menu? Nope. Whoever buys the steak wholesale for this restaurant is buying utter crap, you can get better organic or grass fed meat at Whole Foods. I've been eating a meat based diet for a long, long time and have lived overseas, eaten all kinds of red meat and offal. Florentine steak, Argentinian, American grass fed grain finished, New Zealand grass fed you name it I've either lived there and/or eaten their red meat. That being said, the steak here had a foul after taste, like a 'tang' at the end of a bite. It was easy to spot they bought a cheap wholesale cut from god knows where. Dear Owners: 'Hudson and Charles' butcher shop is 5 minutes from you, go buy some decent cuts there to cook.”
