  “The place is beautiful with a great atmosphere. The green juice was amazing and so refreshing. The sourdough with eggs and cheese was my favorite dish—absolutely delicious. The almond croissant was just okay and didn’t really stand out, and the waffle was also pretty average. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back.”

  “I really loved this cozy spot in the nook of the west village. Don’t go with a large group. This is an intimate spot…It’s one of the only places in NYC that makes a legit New York Sour. And when it’s good… it’s really good. And this bartender knew exactly what he was doing. We had a little tartine with chambone it was elegant, twee and I felt very culturered eating it. Perhaps a pickled something on the side would have been nice to cut the richness but I don’t think that’s the French way! Lovely atmosphere, fantastic people working . The outside with the heat lamps is a vibe too.”

  “Great food and amazing atmosphere! Can't beat a classic French bistro right in the heart of the West Village. There was practically no lines during a Sunday night, but I figure there might be more people on a Friday or Saturday night. The servers seem overworked though! Great service for a solo diner like myself.”

  “Service is Okay but I said split the bill yet still getting only one bill. The waiter with black hair didn’t stop for a second to ask how I would pay. I was sitting there for minutes waiting for paying with credit card. :( Gladly I have cash so I just left some cash and didn’t pay 20% tips as the bill suggested. Food is decent. Small table, busy place, fair service.”

  “Absolutely a beautiful place with cozy little seats. The food is amazing as well for a brunch. We ordered SAUMON FUME and CRQ MADAME. They were small dishes but super tasty and just right ! Also I will recommend to order a chocolate mousse for dessert if you still have some spaces !”

  “If you’re looking for a little taste of Paris in the middle of New York City, Buvette is it. From the moment you walk in, the cozy French café atmosphere pulls you in. The vintage charm, tiny tables, fresh pastries on display, and bustling energy make it feel like you’ve stepped into a neighborhood bistro in Europe. It’s intimate, lively and worth the wait. The food was just as impressive. Every dish was simple but packed with flavor. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the prosciutto and Parmesan added the perfect salty bite, the waffles were crisp on the outside and fluffy inside and the coffee was smooth with beautiful latte art. Nothing felt overly complicated just quality ingredients done exceptionally well. Everything we tried tasted fresh, rich and comforting. It’s the kind of place where you want to order several plates for the table so everyone can share. Whether you’re stopping in for brunch, coffee, or a slow morning in the West Village, Buvette absolutely lives up to the hype. I’d come back again without hesitation.”
