“This is the place to go! I often stop in for lunch, and they always have great specials and consistently delicious food. “Caffe Espresso Italia is a true staple in the Ironbound section of Newark and a place I have been visiting for many years. Back in the day the Nona’s ran the counter with the kind of hospitality that made you feel like you were sitting in your own family’s kitchen. Every visit felt personal and comforting. The new owners have carried that same spirit forward and it shows. The recent renovation has given the space a cleaner and refreshed look while preserving everything that made it special. The food remains every bit as appealing as ever and the experience still feels like coming home.”
