About Da Andrea Greenwich Village
Da Andrea Greenwich Village is a Northern Italian restaurant at 35 W 13th St in New York, where fresh-made pastas and homestyle meat dishes define the menu. The kitchen focuses on budget Northern Italian cooking, with a range of mains that includes both pasta and meat options suited to a casual meal. Cavatelli Di Ricotta stands out among the pastas, while Burrata Con Basilico serves as a starter option, and the menu overall lists 117 dishes. Customer Review Summary
Diners consistently praise the house made pastas, with carbonara, cavatelli in ragu, and gnocchi singled out as standouts, alongside fresh burrata and seafood pasta specials. The service draws repeated acclaim, described as welcoming, attentive, and friendly from greeting to goodbye, even on busy Saturday nights. Cocktails such as the Andrea and Rosmarino Spritz earn praise, and desserts including chocolate cake, affogato, and salted caramel gelato are frequently called out. A few reviewers note portions can be on the smaller side, though several say the quality of the fresh produce makes up for it. One guest mentions a wait without a reservation, but calls it understandable.

“Lovely place to eat. The place was neat- an opposite reflection of the location and the streets the restaurant is located. Good food and lovely customer service. Absolutely refreshing after a long hot day walking the streets of New York the first time”

“Celebrated Mother's Day.For the appetizer we shared a Caesar Salad and the honey ricotta peperoncino flatbread both. For the mains we had three pasta dishes all were perfectly cooked. The dishes were the cavatelli in ragu sauce, A carbonara and Gnocchi dish. The service was outstanding. Attentive it not over overbearing. We ate outside because the weather was nice and both inside and outside have nice flower decorations Overall great experience Highly recommend!”

“Great place for a date night, happy hour, or food with friends. We ordered the Andrea and Rosmarino Spritz cocktails and both were fantastic. The Andrea sounds super sweet, but had a slight tang that was a good balance. …”

“Very cozy and energetic place. The bread was fresh and olive oil was 1st class. The fettuccine Mediterranea was excellent. Fresh and cooked to perfection. The salmon was also excellent with perfection on temperature and taste.”
