Reviewers most often mention rigatoni vodka, meatball salad, short rib ravioli and spaghetti carbonara.
Customer Review Summary
Reviewers consistently praise the handmade pastas, with rigatoni vodka and meatball salad singled out as standouts, along with a short rib ravioli special that one diner called among the best Italian dishes they have had. The atmosphere draws frequent mention, with several describing a lively, warm dining room and one comparing the feel to 1960s New York, complete with Sinatra and jazz. Service earns high marks across reviews, with diners noting attentive, passionate staff and a welcoming attitude toward large groups, including a party of 20 and a wedding rehearsal dinner. Portions and value emerge as a mixed point: many find servings generous, with one reviewer noting the spaghetti carbonara left them full and another appreciating the free bread service, while a few feel the sizes do not always match the price. A couple of reviewers point out that noise at busy times can make conversation difficult, and one found a meat dish underseasoned. Several suggest booking ahead for dinner.

“Had a fantastic time at Viaggio. My pictures don’t do the food justice. I had the meatball salad and rigatoni with vodka with crumpled sausage and both were delicious. Nothing felt heavy or bloated with oil, which is my common gripe with Italian. Even better than the food was the company and service. Felt right at home at the bar having conversations with strangers. I will definitely be back!”
