About Provare Chicago
Provare Chicago is an Italian, Creole, and fusion restaurant and cocktail bar at 1523 W Chicago Ave in Chicago, IL. Much of its identity comes from a menu that brings together Italian and Creole flavors across 37 mains, with dishes spanning seafood, pasta, and hybrid plates. The Seafood Trio is a popular main, and the Crab Cake Egg Rolls appear as a popular dish that bridges the restaurant’s Creole and fusion influences. Butter Cake is another popular item on the menu. The cocktail bar side complements the food, and the mix of subcategories shapes a format where shared plates and drinks anchor the experience. Reservations are advised for weekend evenings.

“Provare` it was my first visit. Love the decor and ambience. My sister and I had salmon eggrolls, Brussel sprouts(love the dipping sauce that comes with it). Our entrées were Branzino fish and shrimp scampi. They were delicious! I don't even like shrimp scampi but this version was tremendous. The Butter Cake ...OMG!! I would drive up there from the SSide just for the cake. After dinner we went downstairs to the Speakeasy Prive`. The service was lovely. I will be back!!!”

“Chose this spot for my wife and I anniversary dinner. It did not disappoint at all! First obstacle is parking but that will be forgotten once you step foot inside this wonderful establishment. The service from start to finish was consistent and pleasant. We got there a little earlier than our reservation so we were able to sit at the bar until our table was ready. Drinks were great we got the MLK & LSD highly recommended! Then the food let me say there is something for everyone here regardless of your dietary choices. We started off with the delicious salmon egg rolls and spinach and artichoke dip. Then the main was lemon pepper chicken alfredo along with the seafood trio. All food looked and smelled great along with the atmosphere and vibe both on the main floor and below. Great experience that will have us back soon!! Thank yall!”

“Hubby took me out and this was far better than I had imagined! The seafood was so delicious and flavorful. Not too much spice on the pasta and just enough seafood to fill you up with that seafood trio. Now the crab cake egg rolls were top tier! The sauce was so good, it will not disappoint and the crab was overly loaded! The crabby fries were different with a crisp taste. I can’t eat cilantro but still a 10/10 fries were perfect! The drinks were Fire. We swapped out the patron for Teremana repo with the Cottage grove cocktail, which was so crisp and clean! 10/10 oh that lamb chop was perfect!! Prices are so/so”
