  “Food was average except the desert,pasta was okayish hence 2 for the desert The guy who takes the order appeared rude and purposefully misinterprets what you said and also the water glasses smelled and had to replace and he says he didnt smell it lol. the order wasnt properly taken and he keep correcting macchiato term and also one desert name which i ordered but somehow forgets to add the desert and had to reorder and still fails to register the desert even after clearly showing him on the menu once and next verbally. the other servers did their job well. Coffee without sugar sachets and small quantity which is what the serving size is and coffee was meh.wouldnt order again. Place was hot too maybe no ac etc. Only positive from the restaurant was the custard chocolate caramel desert and pasta wasnt bad but not tasty either. I wouldnt go again just for the person who takes the order.”

  “Here's a comfortable slice of Tuscany served-up with pride. We were turned off by the noise and traffic at Grand Central Market across the street and opted for an evening here on the patio. My generous square of lasagna was exceptional. I was pleased with the culinary twist of creamy bechamel, and the refreshing lemon cello prosecco with fresh mint. Gracie mille!”

  “Delicious food great ambience, and excellent service. There’s a reason why this place officially recognized as a Bib Gourmand restaurant in the MICHELIN Guide USA. . We were able to walk in and get seated almost immediately on the patio, great romantic ambience, and as the sun went down, they immediately came over and provided us with a lamp, which made it even more romantic. They have a QR code at your table that allows you to see hidden options on the menu with images of all of the dishes. I find this extremely helpful as a visual person to know the dish looks like. The bone marrow was excellent, and the flan had to be the best fun I’ve ever had in my life.”

  “I feel so lucky to have found such a delicious pasta place! The food wasn't salty, which I really appreciated. The pasta was especially amazing—the texture was perfect. The risotto was excellent as well. I think I'll be coming back often! If you park in the nearby public parking garage, they offer parking validation, so be sure to ask for it.”

  “Went here for Sunday lunch and had an incredible dining experience. The service was amazing. Started off with the complementary thinly sliced chibatta bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar (add a dash of the salt and it's perfect). Ordered the burratina and it was a thing of beauty. The tasty pesto and fresh arugula & sliced grape tomatoes on chibatta toast was outstandig. Next game the entrees that I shared with my bride. First was the the cioppino (spicy tomato bisque with seafood). This was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This will be a must share entree with people I bring here. The second entree was the pappardelle cinghiale. The wild boar ragu was tasty with fennel seeds and the meat was so soft. Another highly recommended dish you should order. Dessert was a great ending to our meal. I ordered the tiramisu, which was moist and delicious and not too sweet (which I really liked). The lady ordered the mascarpone flan, which I thought was tastier then the tiramisu. I wanted to try the ricotta cheesecake, but I had to watch my waistline 🫤. Bottom line: I WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND MACCHERONI REPUBLIC and I can't wait to comeback!!!”

  “With all due respect, this was a very average experience with a high price tag. The wait staff was fine, wait times okay, the food was average. We got the truffle special with gnocchi and the wild boar pappardelle and it was mid. The truffle sauce had a lot of nutmeg flavor, and the boar sauce was lacking flavor. The bill was $75 for two pasta dishes and one cocktail. Pizzeria Republica down the street on Main has an incredible happy hour with some of the best pizza and pasta I’ve had in LA. Go there instead.”

  “Amazing customer service! I have been coming here periodically for 7 years now. The pasta is handmade and gluten free, which is rare to find in Italian restaurants. A great option for anyone with gluten allergies. I miss their Dine in LA offers. My favorite dish is the Bianchi & Neri, which is black squid ink pasta mixed with white pasta and a cream sauce with Pancetta. It’s worth a try going once in a while.”

  “Amazing food! The calamari was the best I’ve ever had (I only remembered to take a picture when we were almost finished with it), and the pasta dishes were excellent. You can really tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The only downside is that there is just one restroom, but overall it was a fantastic dining experience.”
