  “Perhaps the best coffee in town. Teena made my drink and recommended topping it with vanilla bourbon cold foam. The coffee tasted rich, without being bitter. It was sublime, and as beautiful as it was delicious! I also ordered their avocado toast on sourdough. So fresh tasting and generous on the avocado! Fantastic coffee, and loved the retro atmosphere!! I’ll definitely be back!!!”

  “We found our favorite coffee shop! Thanks, Yelp, for another awesome Elite Week event at "Coffee Builders." It's in a 1960s building with cool art outside and a super cozy, study-like vibe inside. They also have unique food, like Smørrebrød, which are Danish open-faced sandwiches. Everyone was so friendly! Our barista, Pepper, was really nice and patient while we checked out their amazing coffee choices. My wife loves coffee, so she got a "Chocolate Pistachio Latte," and I picked something from their Galactic menu, the "Krayt Dragonfruit." It had muddled dragonfruit, lemonade, peach, anise rose tea, and bee pollen. So good, and both drinks looked incredible! We also tried the prime rib sliders; the meat was tender and juicy and totally hit the spot. Shanda loved it, so we'll definitely be back. Thanks again, Francheska, for inviting us, and please support them and all our local businesses!”

  “This place is A VIBE!! Came in about 9am on a Wednesday. Plenty of seating, plugs everywhere and really easy to access. I got a chocolate pistachio iced coffee and it’s GORGEOUS AND DELICIOUS. Probably the first $8 coffee I’ve had worth the $8. Highly recommend. I loved working here for the day.”

  “First time in, immediately the vibes were immaculate. Once you walk in the ambiance is unmatched. I’m a serial drive thru coffee drinker & today I had time to come in and sit down I was going to check out another coffee spot down the road from here but based on the reviews of this place compared to the other place, I came here instead. The menu is extensive, full of greatness, the service from the guys at the register was really friendly and they were very patient while I made up my mind. I tried a strawberry chocolate pastry today and the strawberry fields iced coffee, the pastry and coffee was 10/10. I’ll definitely be back. Side note: they have a seat near the register with a wireless charging pad thingy. Super cool.”

  “Loved the atmosphere inside and the outdoor patio has plenty of seats to enjoy your drink out in the sun. We came here two days in a row so we could try multiple drinks and they were all delicious. Highly recommend the chocolate pistachio latte.”

  “The Coffee Builders is an absolute must if you’re visiting the Phoenix area. My husband and I came every day of our trip and it was consistently delicious. The coffee was always the right temperature for drinking, and the beans were never burned. My favorite was the orange blossom latte, which had a smooth orange taste throughout. If you like a creamsicle, this latte was essentially it. I highly recommend getting it iced, as it comes with a delicious cold foam on top. I also greatly enjoyed the slopes latte, which had a light and refreshing blueberry taste - it should be stirred though to ensure the flavor remains consistent throughout. My husband loved his Masala Gold latte, but also tried the Fire & Ice luxury drink, which involved it being smoked at the table. The drink is an award winner, and for obvious reasons. No matter what drink we had, it always proved to be some of the most delicious coffee I’ve ever gotten to enjoy. Food-wise, we really enjoyed the loaded avocado toast. I was hesitant at first since it came with guacamole on it, but it was excellent. The tomatoes and shallots worked nicely with the guacamole and it made for a very filling breakfast. The fruit cup was also lovely, and it tasted very fresh which is such a nice treat in January for an out-of-stater. Finally, the vibe was impeccable and the people were lovely. The staff were all excited to talk about the menu and gave amazing recommendations. This is the kind of place that you want to sit down and spend an hour or two just hanging out at, either on their patio or inside. When we go back to Phoenix, this is first on my list to go back to.”

  “Enjoyed our time here! Indoor and outdoor seating (dog friendly outside). My husband enjoyed the coffee which had free refills. I had the dark chocolate chai which tasted more like milk chocolate with a hint of chai. Maybe next time I'll ask for another shot of chai. But I would definitely come again!”

  “Had an absolutely delicious iced latte with house made blueberry puree. Espresso was smooth and did not taste acidic or overpowering. What I loved the most is that they have house made syrups and sauce options, that’s my new thing. I’m so over the artificial flavorings at coffee shops. I’m pretty sure my barista’s name was Edvan, she answered SO many of my questions and genuinely seemed to care about her craft. The inside was beautifully decorated with a natural wood theme. The patio was lovely as well, with a lot of trees, there was a little noise from the road though.”
