  “Perhaps the best coffee in town. Teena made my drink and recommended topping it with vanilla bourbon cold foam. The coffee tasted rich, without being bitter. It was sublime, and as beautiful as it was delicious! I also ordered their avocado toast on sourdough. So fresh tasting and generous on the avocado! Fantastic coffee, and loved the retro atmosphere!! I’ll definitely be back!!!”

  “We found our favorite coffee shop! Thanks, Yelp, for another awesome Elite Week event at "Coffee Builders." It's in a 1960s building with cool art outside and a super cozy, study-like vibe inside. They also have unique food, like Smørrebrød, which are Danish open-faced sandwiches. Everyone was so friendly! Our barista, Pepper, was really nice and patient while we checked out their amazing coffee choices. My wife loves coffee, so she got a "Chocolate Pistachio Latte," and I picked something from their Galactic menu, the "Krayt Dragonfruit." It had muddled dragonfruit, lemonade, peach, anise rose tea, and bee pollen. So good, and both drinks looked incredible! We also tried the prime rib sliders; the meat was tender and juicy and totally hit the spot. Shanda loved it, so we'll definitely be back. Thanks again, Francheska, for inviting us, and please support them and all our local businesses!”

  “This place is A VIBE!! Came in about 9am on a Wednesday. Plenty of seating, plugs everywhere and really easy to access. I got a chocolate pistachio iced coffee and it’s GORGEOUS AND DELICIOUS. Probably the first $8 coffee I’ve had worth the $8. Highly recommend. I loved working here for the day.”

  “What a wonderful hidden gem! The café is spotless, with a clean and cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your visit. The coffee was rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed, while the pastries were fresh, flavorful, and paired beautifully with my drink. The staff were welcoming, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends.”

  “I cannot believe how different this is than the reviews and the pictures, Overhyped! First off, three people standing at the register and no one could give me any recommendations or tell me much about the drinks or the food! I asked about the ingredients in the gluten-free waffles because I have allergies and the response from guy was “I don’t know, I don’t have it memorized” 🤯🙊 After ordering, they said that they do everything half sweet, which is a grossly under representation of what it was. There was absolutely no sweet noted. I don’t know where they’re getting half sweet from. Both of our drinks were bitter, we did NOT taste coffee nor ANY flavors-funny how people are gushing over this coffee. when we went in, there was only one person ahead of us. I don’t know how people are saying this place is (space theme this time ) themed. There was one skeleton mask on the wall and that was it, other than the outside entrance. The drinks are pretty- so if you wanna come here and overspend on flavored milk because it looks cool…Go right ahead. The inside became crowded as we were leaving, but there’s really not much seating inside, and it is squeezed in as in you are touching other tables. The outside seating has sturdy chairs but are very small, so if you are a size large or above, this is not the place to come sit. Also, the drip system is dripping on some of chairs that don’t look like they were made for outside, caution on sitting, wet bum.”

  “I have truly no clue how this place has such a high ranking. The coffee was so bad i took two sips and stopped, the avo toast was on bread that was essentially a brick. I came in with such high hopes and left soooo confused.”

  “Amazing Coffee Shop! Our favorite by far in Phoenix especially if you are staying near the sky harbor airport. Delicious dedicated gluten free waffles and many other gluten free items. It was Star Wars month so the waffles were millennium falcon shaped and the deviled eggs were Baby Yoda/grogu shaped. So much fun and delicious. The oat milk cappuccino was excellent as well.”

  “Coffee Builders in Phoenix was such a pleasant experience! Tina was incredibly helpful and took the time to write down recommendations and share her favorites with me, which made my first visit even better. I ordered the Slopes iced latte, half sweet with almond milk, along with the peach and blueberry danish. Both were absolutely delicious! I actually made my way back here again before my flight because I enjoyed it that much. I was really looking forward to trying local coffee shops while in the area, and this place absolutely nailed it. From the kind service to the smooth coffee, I definitely recommend stopping by!”
