About Caffè Vita - Central Phoenix Coffee Shop & Roaster
Caffè Vita is a coffee roastery and espresso bar in Central Phoenix, at 509 W McDowell Rd, operating as a Pacific Northwest-born chain that serves house-roasted coffee in relaxed surroundings. Much of its identity comes from doing both sides of the work under one roof, roasting in-house and serving the result as an espresso bar and cafe. The Cortado is a popular menu item, and the drink program also includes an Iced Americano, giving regulars a short, focused range alongside the broader coffee lineup. The space supports laptop work and casual visits, with seating suited to both takeaway and lingering over a cup.

The staff is frequently praised as friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, with multiple reviewers noting that baristas offer samples, make tailored flavor recommendations, and clearly take pride in their craft. The neighborhood vibe and relaxed space also draw praise, with the roll-up garage doors and open-air setup making groups feel at ease. “I had two visits to this place during a house sit and absolutely loved them both. It’s got a neighborhood vibe, friendly staff, good coffee, awesome roll up doors, and a decent breakfast burrito. My first visit was excellent chatting with the guy behind the counter about Vietnamese coffee (egg coffee and salted cream). It was a lot of fun. Highly recommend.”

“Had a rose latte… honestly, it was subtle but nothing to wow about. The guy taking the order was polite but the girl making the lattes was a bit snappy when my sister asked about cold foam. It wasn’t about the extra money, it just wasn’t listed on the menu (or we missed it). Ambiance is cute. It’s like an opened garage, living room, very homey atmosphere.”

“Haven’t tried the Wild Heart yet but the Sweet Dreams was great as both a Rapid Brew and a double shot. Shout out to Tianna for help choosing a blend that I would like most. She was super helpful!”

“Eddie (the manager) and Emmanuel are two of the nicest humans on earth that work here. The coffee and neighborhood vibe is A+ here! I highly recommend this coffee shop to all. Especially if you live in downtown Phoenix and around the Willo and Encanto neighborhoods!”

“Nice place to hang out! They opened the large glass garage style door so the inside became the outside! Came with a large group of 12, put some seat and tables together and it worked well!”
