  “Me and my family had a pizza each (we defo could have shared as they're huge) and there were happy bellies all around! Pizza is fresh and delicious, the ginger beer I would also definitely recommend and the tiramisu is to die for! They made room for our elderly dog in his pram too so bonus points for being so accommodating. 10/10 lovely staff, fab food and drinks and lovely atmosphere ⭐️ thank you to our server Aria (I hope I spelt your name right) x”

  “There is no better place to sneak off to on your wedding day than Dough Eyed. The pizza was, as always, incredible, Elliott and the whole team are just wonderful people and even better, I ate a pizza without getting a single bit down my dress 😂 Thank you to the whole dough eyed team, thanks for always having us and welcoming everyone through the doors to try your amazing creations.   “Absolutely the best pizza ever. Went with family including two very picky grandchildren, who both ate theirs without complaint. As for us adults, we were in heaven. The pizza bases were just as they should be, light and fluffy, and the fillings were obviously high quality and really tasty. A short menu of simple choices, with the emphasis on the outstanding pizzas and craft ales. A shout out for the staff who clearly enjoy their work and want to make sure you do too, and especially to Elliot who looked after said picky grandchildren without losing his smile.”

  “Dough Eye was recommended to us by another highly regarded pizza maker, so we made sure to include it in our plans for a trip to York—and it absolutely lived up to the recommendation. The pizzas were excellent, combining real creativity with exceptionally high-quality ingredients. You can tell that a great deal of thought and skill goes into every pizza, and the service was excellent throughout: warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Well worth seeking out.”
