Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often point to the roast dinner, praising the generous portions and value, with the roast beef singled out in one account. Close behind are the hanging chicken skewers, the mixed grill, the fillet steak and a fish platter to start, while the lemon cheesecake, homemade coleslaw and fudge get mentions as well. Service is described as friendly and welcoming, and one diner was seated immediately on a busy rugby night. Several mention a relaxed atmosphere, and one notes an outdoor terrace. A birthday party was praised for the team accommodating the decorations and adding more. The one sharply negative account describes a long wait for an order to be taken, then a mixed grill with a fatty, gristly steak, dry rubbery chicken, a burnt rock-solid egg and onion rings that tasted like donuts. That reviewer did say the room looked nice. Positive reviewers close on plans to return, including for cocktails after a pre-theatre meal.

“It took 40 minutes for someone to take our order, then when the food arrived, I had the mixed grill. The steak was more fat and gristle than meat. It was tasteless, well it did taste like charcoal but that's about it. The chicken was pure rubber and dry as a bone. The egg was rock solid, and burnt. And the onion rings tasted like donuts. All in all one if the worse meals I've had at a restaurant. Only good thing was that the place looked nice. Not really the type to leave bad reviews or complain but in seriousness, do not go to the restaurant.”

“Came to Levamt with my mum for lunch on a Saturday. Served by Hannah who was lovely. We got two different sandwiches and some sides to share. The prices were very reasonable considering the portion and quality of the food. Would 10/10 recommend and come again 💖”
