Customer Review Summary
Diners most often single out the poppadoms with the pickle tray, praised for its wide selection of dips. Close behind are the curries: Naga Lamb, described as soft and succulent though a bit hot for one diner, the Jhinook Sweet Chilli Chicken, and a king prawn house special. Onion rice and crispy chips also earn mentions. Reviewers describe the food as flavourful, in good portions and reasonably priced. They repeatedly praise friendly, polite staff, fast service and a clean, cosy dining room that stays nicely spaced when busy. Several regulars say they have never had a bad meal over years of visits, and one suggests reserving a table because it fills up even midweek. The one drawback raised is the lack of a dedicated car park, with a pay and display car park a few feet away. One diner asked for a lamb pathia that was not on the menu and got it without fuss, and another had the chef bring the food out himself.

“I would give an extra star if I could! We have been as a large family group for a meal a few times now. Wonderful attentive service. They really cannot do enough for you. The food is always divine and the place is beautifully clean and well kept. The best place in Worksop, 10/10”

“Popped for a meal last Friday at 8pm, just two of us. Food was amazing, really good atmosphere and prices were reasonable. Started with 2x poppadom's each with a pickle tray - really great! Naga Lamb - soft and succulent lamb, really tasty, bit hot for me but my managed it Jhinook Sweet Chilli Chicken - this was the first time I've had this and really enjoyed it, chicken cooked beautifully and tasted fab Onion rice - delicious Chips - wow, these were the best chips I've had out, they were crispy all through eating Would definitely recommend and will be going again!”

“One of the best curries I've had for a long time. Unfortunately I'm not local to the area otherwise this would be my go to curry house. You know it's going to be good when it's busy on a Tuesday night, I would highly recommend reserving a table to avoid disappointment. When visiting a new restaurant I always like to try the "House Specials" their signature dishes should always be the best, I ordered "Phil's Special" which was a king prawn dish I wasn't quite sure how it was pronounced but I pointed to it on the menu just to make sure. Wow it was superb. Be sure to order poppadoms with the pickle tray, one of the best pickle trays I've ever had, you won't run out of dips, a superb selection. Absolutely fantastic, I will definitely return if I am passing by.”
