Customer Review Summary
Dog walkers are the draw most reviewers describe, with the diner sitting at the entrance to the woods and welcoming dogs, down to the doggy sausages that two reviewers single out. Close behind is the breakfast itself: a full English that one reviewer calls one of the nicest in years, a bacon sandwich praised for thick, tasty bacon in place of the thin, scrunched-up rashers found at other roadside cafes, and a bacon and sausage butty described as freshly cooked. The Full Monty and the omelettes also get named, along with homemade chips, avo salmon toast and a hot Americano. Reviewers repeatedly describe the owners and staff as friendly and welcoming, and several call the prices reasonable and the products local and fresh. Plenty of parking comes up too. No real complaints surface, and the only reservation is a four-star reviewer who held back a fifth star simply because there is nowhere higher to go after such a good bacon sandwich. Regulars describe coming back every week for brunch after a woodland walk.

“Called in here and had a freshly cooked bacon and sausage butty. Delicious and the owners made me feel welcome, considering how hot the temperature was. Would definitely recommend a visit and I shall return when I'm next in the area.”

“We go every week and have done for a few years. A lovely walk in the woods with the dogs followed by brunch in the diner. Andy and Tanya are very friendly and serve delicious food at a reasonable price. Tanya makes the best omelettes! The Full Monty breakfast is a must!! Dog friendly and doggy sausages available. Highly recommend.”
