“Lovely staff But no ac (understandable) or WiFi (less understandable) If you deliver food to table you should also deliver the cutlery and sauces not require customer to get them. However the food leaves a lot to be desired. Had full English with can of coke and additional chips. The full English decently priced but the soft drink prices seem a bit much but never mind. The problem was the foods, the toast was burnt. Poor quality sausage and burnt on outside a little. Surprisingly the beans were ok. The additional chips however were undercooked and poor quality, so much so I could not finish them which is not something i do. I finish my plate. Worst offender was the egg, undercooked throughout, needed another minute or so instead it was uncooked and unstable and fell apart. The place could be better with some additional efforts to address quality and cooking issues.”

“Having been loyal customers for over ten years—visiting weekly at one point—it breaks my heart to write this, but the Farm Cafe is just not what it used to be. It has now become a "once or twice a year if need be" kind of place for us. The main issue now is the management and service. On our last visit, we were quoted a 20-25 minute wait for food, which stretched into a frustrating 45 minutes. The seating process was absolute chaos; there was no staff member consistently managing the floor, leading to customers just picking their own tables. This resulted in multiple awkward confrontations with irate customers who had actually been allocated those same tables. A few years back, there was a lady who worked here who ran the whole place like clockwork, but we haven't seen her in a long time, and her absence shows. While the food itself is still good, the portion sizes have shrunk and the prices have gone up, meaning it no longer feels like good value. Sadly, the charm and efficiency are gone.”

“Food is fairly decent; but unfortunately that it’s not a great experience beyond that, after working out there is no table service, to the point where you have to search for your own cutlery, we were told food will be 20 mins… 50 minutes later we had to chase; with two young children on a hot day, honesty on time is important. After collecting warm cans of drinks; waiting in dark room on a sunny day; it wasn’t the best experience; if time is on your side and your happy to wait an unknown amount of time and do a lot of the service yourself. Then you won’t be disappointed.”

“My poached egg was disappointing and the fresh orange juice was from a carton. I was expecting freshly squeezed. It was misleading.”
