About Heather Farm Cafe
Heather Farm Cafe is a Woking cafe on Heather Farm, overlooking the wetlands of Horsell Common. Dogs are welcome, and a dog menu offers dog food and ice cream for dogs, which gives walkers with pets something to order for them as well. The kitchen serves cooked breakfasts, including a full English, ham egg and chips, and a Benedict. Lunch and afternoon tea follow later in the day, and coffee and cake are there for a lighter stop. Indoors, a cabin seating area sits alongside the main room. The cafe is next to Horsell Common, with walks nearby and a nature reserve where the wetlands area is used for birdwatching.

Customer Review Summary
Cooked breakfasts draw the most praise, from a full English to a Benedict with eggs one reviewer calls fresh and rich, and a ham, egg and chips that arrived with runny eggs and warm, good quality ham. Close behind are the desserts and drinks, including a decadent cookie, a vanilla latte and a hot chocolate. Reviewers repeatedly describe friendly, helpful staff, and one says a wrongly ordered breakfast was swapped without extra charge. The setting by Horsell Common and the wetlands earns steady mentions, along with free parking, indoor and outdoor seating and private pods for eating outside. Dog owners appreciate the dog menu and treats, and one says a dog finished his meal in minutes. Complaints centre on service details. One reviewer found used plates and cutlery left on the table in the cabin and had to ask the manager for cutlery and a refill of the station. Another objected to a discretionary 10% service charge, a small side of chips for the price, and being told to fill a water glass from the tap outside the door.

“The staff here were so lovely and helpful. By mistake I ordered the wrong cooked breakfast item, and when I told them they helpfully changed it over to the I wished for without charging anything extra. They were so understanding and helpful, I would highly recommend this place!”

“Great setting and excellent food. We stopped in as a break on a road trip and were really surprised by how nice this place was. Aside from the cafe itself, there are great walks to be had in the surrounding area. Highly recommended.”

“An absolute gem! Gorgeous dog-friendly cafe with free car park, clean modern toilets, delicious menu, and wonderfully friendly service. A short drive from the M25, but feels in the middle of the countryside. Beautiful views of the nature reserve with easy access to various walks, and the common grounds just over the road. My sister’s dog loved the dog menu and devoured his meal in minutes. We will definitely be back!”

“The staff were so lovely and friendly. I had a hot chocolate to start with which was amazing. Then I decided to have a full English breakfast which looked and tasted fantastic. Beautiful area to go for a walk and also free parking. What's not to love. I will definately be back. Thank you.”
