  “We had a random visit at Guildford at odd time on Sunday. We wanted breakfast and I found this place on Google. I saw pictures and the Full English was exactly we wanted. The place looks even better when visited, food was exactly what we hoped, service super friendly. Really enjoyed!”

  “Great little English breakfast place just a short walk from the University of Surrey. There’s a shorter route the google maps didn’t know across a pedestrian bridge and down a short foot path. It’s got a diner vibe and serves all the English breakfast classics fast and hot.”

  “This place has the best chips. Crunchy outside with fluffy inside. Perfect. I found this place a few years ago when visiting Guildford. Now every time I visit the town I pop in for lunch. The place is spotlessly clean, staff are helpful and food is excellent. The omelets are huge and well filled. Swap out the amazing chips for a huge Salad if you want a health, hearty lunch.”

  “First time in this cafe, very friendly service, greeted with a smile and left with a goodbye. Nice breakfast for £8.95 which included a cup of tea, all food was piping hot and tasty. Not often in Guildford, but will pop in again if I am.”

  “Popped in while my car was being MOTed down the road. Excellent food and value for money. Clean and friendly staff. Best breakfast with tinned tomatoes and black pudding I have had for a while. Definitely going back.”

  “Best fry-up I've had for ages - decent ingredients perfectly cooked, with friendly service. And the majestic sauté potatoes should be mandatory on a fry-up... A far superior potato product to the tasteless, cardboard triangles of misery that have become the norm. Top marks.”

  “We stopped at this spot after a long flight and it was just what we needed. It should be on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives - not a fancy place, but good food, good service for a good price. So if this is what you are looking for (see photo below) this is the place.”

  “We were so excited to try the number one place on TripAdvisor but unfortunately we’re disappointed. The menu is typical English cafe and breakfast - the hash browns were fantastic and portion sizes generous. The chips could be better and could be less of them and more other things. The main disappointment for us was the service. We were served by a woman who was clearly having a bad morning. Her attitude was appalling.”
