Customer Review Summary

The criticism is more specific. One family found some waiters short-tempered and rude when ordering for their children, and said a high chair was taken away without asking. Another reviewer found the bruschetta, calzones and pizza lacking flavour and seasoning, and said staff stared without smiling when only a few customers were in. Some at one table thought the pasta too salty and were offered alternatives immediately. One notes a tiny pannacotta next to a much larger tiramisu, and a pizza slightly burned on the side.

“An amazing evening celebrating my mums 84th birthday! From start to finish it was 10/10! The food portion sizes were brilliant and oh so tasty! Thank you for making it so memorable for my mum xxx”

“Mixed feelings this visit. It was the usual convivial atmosphere, beautiful table settings etc., but some thought their pasta was too salty. Andre assured that no extra salt is added and anchovies are salty naturally. They were offered alternatives immediately. My dish was mini ribs in BBQ sauce. They were exactly what they said, with the addition of creamy slaw and a few chunky chips. Sauce was nice. I did think the pannacotta while very nice, was tiny and noticed the tiramasu desert looked much bigger. I always regret inconsistency in portion sizes. Away from the food the ladies toilet needs upgrading. while clean, the toilet door lock and sink tap were ill fitting and the facility looked generally tired. I enjoyed the evening very much however and probably will return.”

“We have just thoroughly enjoyed an evening at Andre’s. The food was absolutely superb. My lasagne was delicious, the best I have ever had. The venue has a wonderful atmosphere, it was very busy (Wednesdays are 50% off the mains menu) but we didn’t have to wait, the team were so attentive, the lovely young lady who looked after us was a credit to Andre’s and the Italian gentleman (so sorry I forgot your name by the time I got home) was so warm, friendly and such good fun. It all made for a perfect evening. This was my first time dining at Andre’s and it definitely won’t be my last - I’ve got to come back to work my way through their fabulous menu! 😋”

“Went on a Wednesday when pizza and pasta was half price so restaurant was very busy. You definitely need to book!. I opted for a pizza which was delicious the rest of the group opted for pasta dishes and 1 off the specials menu. All enjoyed their meal no complaints.”

“Me and my boyfriend went here for some late lunch/early dinner a few days ago and we both said it’s the best restaurant we have ever been to. The service was amazing, the waitress was so authentic, funny and lovely. The food was lovely and we had no complaints at all, and it came really quickly too, we were in and out within 40 ish minutes. We will be returning and suggesting to other people thank you so much.”
