  “I visited on a weekday whilst on a bike ride, meeting my wife there for lunch. The food was excellent but it took aire a while to come out of the kitchen as it was quite busy that day (we were warned of "a bit of a wait", but it was much more than a bit!). It's a noisy place due the the acoustics of the large barn so it's not a place to go if you're looking to have a quiet chat. My biggest disappointment though was the lack of anywhere to park my bike - although there was a fence-mounted small rack for 3 or 4 bikes, there were tables put out in front of it so completely useless I'm afraid. I guess the Hayloft doesn't get many cyclists passing by... All in all a nice place for lunch as long as you don't mind it being noisy and the potential wait for food.”

  “Visited with a friend. We were placed at the back on a table for two. We were informed that when ready to order they would come to the table. We made our choices and chattered away waiting for someone to come,after 5 minutes tried to get the attention of staff to take our order,still no one came,I eventually had to go and get someone to attend to us from the shop area,were I saw 6 staff chatting amongst themselves. Attention was then given to us and with apologies. The food we ordered was really nice and the service became much better.”

  “Spent a lovely few hours here. Its such a lovely venue for a bite to eat. There are lots of animals for the little ones, tractors for them to play on and a small compact play area, ideal for my Grandson and any child from 0 - 4 years, I would say. The train ride was also great, my Grandson loved it. Enjoyed by all.”

  “This is the second time I have been and it was another pleasant experience. Bright and airy. The staff know what they are doing the food is tasty. We had specific requirements for the 5 different Full English breakfast’s. All accommodated for with minimal fuss . 😀 The highlight for the kids was going to see the farm animals afterwards as it was originally a working farm . Would I go back for a third time …..YES .”

  “We had a wonderful time at The Hayloft Farm for their Halloween pumpkin picking event. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the experience enjoyable and smooth from start to finish. We were particularly impressed by the fresh pumpkin soup available — it had a lovely taste and aroma that was unique and delightful. Parking management was efficient and hassle-free, allowing us to settle in quickly without any stress. The farm itself was well-organized with clear signage and helpful staff around to assist. The atmosphere was festive and family-friendly, making it a perfect Halloween outing. Overall, The Hayloft offers a great mix of seasonal fun, quality products, and attentive service. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a festive day out in a welcoming farm environment.”

  “First time for me went with my Daughter and Granddaughter lovely place. Staff very friendly .I got teacake and hot chocolate Marshmallows and cream was really nice. Just felt the amount of butter they gave you was wasted.We then went outside to see the animals and did the Sun Flower trail which was lovely.”

  “We've been here several times before and in particular for the pumpkins. This is a really good place, that I would definitely recommend especially for the breakfast, and the cafe has tables nicely spaced out. Friendly efficient service. Also they have a few animals to look at, and a small children's playground. And a place with miniature pedal tractors. I'd happily give this place 5 stars, but I'm going to take off a star because of an obnoxious teenage boy trying to charge us £1 to access a field?!”

  “We had a lovely time pumpkin picking (and corn picking too!) with our 3 year old. We rode the miniature train (takes cash or card) and the man who drove it was very friendly and knowledgeable about the farm. Fed the cows some corn, saw ponies, pigs, guinea pigs and rabbits. Cafe was busy but service was quick and staff friendly. Lovely breakfast barms, with ice creams for afters. Will definitely visit again in warmer weather.”

  “Just an incredible day!!!! We went last year and enjoyed it so went again this year. Cafe is lovely and the cakes are nice. Staff in there are just so lovely, helpful and sociable. Little animals for kids to see and pumpkin picking is really good (expensive though for the pumpkins) corn maze is fun. Miniature railway is lovely and fun for the little ones ! £2.50 each, facepainting £4 each. Great day, would recommend! Thanks everyone x”

  “We didn’t eat here we went for the sunflower maze. The maze was beautiful and the flowers were in full bloom. But it could be quite expensive for a family. It’s £5 per person to go in the maze and a £1 per stem if you pick the sunflowers. It’s a gorgeous place with a cafe, animals and you can pay to go on a little train to take you to the start of the maze. (It’s only a short journey ).”
