  “We ordered 16 small fish and chips with peas and curry separately. This was for my dad's 90th birthday gathering. The food and service was fantastic everything was ready for pick up as arranged. Fresh ,hot and delicious. The staff were brilliant and helped with the order to the car. Thanks for making his day perfect.”

  “Just changed my 5 Star to one star as the food I've just ordered was disgusting. The lightly battered fish that I asked for isn't lightly battered & tasted like it's been under the heat light since dinner time as well as the chips & some are hard. It's hit & miss weather this place will be either serving good food or rubbish food. It's someone's treat gone in the bin. Won't be going again unfortunately”

  “I have tried many chippys in warrington and I can honestly say Callands fryer has the best sweet and sour chicken! I also love the beef/chicken fried rice. Me and my family love the food and friendly service, would highly recommend to anyone.”

  “The Chinese meals are absolutely amazing! .. The portions are very generous and the prices are really good! Fish and chips are always fresh. The staff are always friendly. You can order online by typing Callands fryer into Google, It’s really easy to order and There is a points system every few orders you will receive a £10 off voucher for your next order. .. I’m glad that this is my local chip shop , although I would definitely travel from all areas of Warrington as the food is top quality. Oh yes, and don’t forget the salt and pepper chicken! Unbelievable”

  “Today's truly amazing fish and chips experience! 🐟🍟 The fish was incredibly fresh; crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The fries were perfectly cooked—not too greasy, not too dry—absolutely addictive. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, and the staff were very cheerful and attentive. Orders arrived quickly, and everything was piping hot. Both the taste and the service exceeded my expectations. If you're craving good fish & chips, you absolutely must try it. I'll be back! 🙌”

  “For decades, I had visited this chip shop for lunch, though it had been several years since I last came, and it is now under new management. The shop is situated between a convenience shop and a popular pub, and there is plenty of parking available. Upon entering the shop, I found it to be clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and polite. Things had changed a little since my previous visits, as the chippy now serves various other foods as well as chippy fare. The large cod was a good size, not particularly thick, but quite wide and with a delicious freshness to it. The batter was also quite special, and the combination of the two was spot on. The curry sauce was thick and smooth, with nothing in the way of lumps or pretentiousness. It also had a nice little kick—a curry sauce that would complement most dishes. The salt-and-pepper siumai was very tasty, and the accompanying onions and peppers were plentiful and fresh. The siumai wasn't really for me—it had a meatball-like texture, with little moisture.   “Clean, modern place with pleasant, approachable staff. Food mostly prepared to order with a small number of ready-to-go items. The Battered Sausage is snappy, juicy and full of flavour. The Chip Barm is overflowing with perfectly cooked, fluffy chips. The Special Omelette with chips and peas is well portioned and very tasty, though the omelette mostly tastes like salty bacon. Small Fish & Chips and Small Curry Sauce. I opted for ‘fruity’ curry instead of ‘Chinese’. A good amount of food for a small portion. The chips were great ‘Chippy' chips and the fish was flaky and smooth with a thin, crisp batter. The fish was cooked to order and was a little greasy, but not so much that any flavour or textures were lost to it. The Fruity Curry Sauce was really tasty too. A bit chunky and a peppery taste, it paired really well with the fish and chips. Overall, there's some great chippy food here that hits the spot.”

  “It’s was ok the salt and pepper chicken was Beautiful. The noodles would have been nice but they where drowning in soy sauce to the point they were nearly inedible witch was a shame The curry sauce was like wallpaper paste gutted. Been again and this time I have to say it was spot on rice was lovely salt and pepper chicken was again very good portion was massive thank you.”
