Customer Review Summary

Diners most often point to the free soup and unlimited rice that come with dine-in meals, alongside big portions that several call great value. Among the dishes named, reviewers single out the sizzling mixed grill with black pepper sauce, soft-shell crabs with golden egg yolk, prawn flat noodles with scrambled egg, and the signature spicy shredded chicken cold noodles. Others praise the dim sum and a dumpling soup. Several describe authentic Hong Kong and Cantonese cooking, a spacious room and welcoming service, and one notes plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. The complaints are small. One group arrived shortly after opening hoping for the new Taiwanese set meals and was told the head chef had not started, so some dishes were unavailable. Another found the morning glory a bit spicy, though it can be ordered with less chilli. One reviewer warns that weekends get busy. A regular says nearly every visit ends with extra food ordered to take home.

“The food here was AMAZING - so flavourful, served piping hot and super quick! Tonnes of vegetarian and vegan options too which was a brilliant, and is often difficult to find elsewhere. I couldn't recommend eating here more! The service from staff was phenomenal too, they're were very thorough, explained their menu and their recommendations for us and check in with our table throughout our meal. I would go to the extent of saying this was the best service I'd ever had at a restaurant.”

“Great place for some proper Cantonese food and dim sum (like tapas/small plate food) and good size portions . Lunchtime set menu are great value. There is a Asian supermarket upstairs too and limited parking outside. Warning: reservations required over the weekend, it gets pretty busy.”

The restaurant offers a comfortable dining environment, friendly service, generous portions, and excellent value for money. Complimentary old duck and mixed vegetable soup, along with unlimited rice refills, are included with the meal. Free parking is available directly outside the restaurant, and there is even a small supermarket upstairs, making the overall experience very convenient. The only slight disappointment was that we had planned to try some of the newly launched Taiwanese set meals. Although we arrived shortly after opening time, we were informed that the head chef had not yet started work, so some of the new dishes were unavailable. In the end, we ordered the restaurant’s signature Spicy Shredded Chicken Cold Noodles (£10), an Iced Hong Kong Milk Tea (£2), and the complimentary Old Duck and Mixed Vegetable Soup. At this price point, there is really nothing to complain about. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 👌🏻Signature Mala Spicy Shredded Chicken with Cold Noodles 🤙🏻Hong Kong Style Ice Milk Tea ✋🏻Old Duck and Mixed Vegetable Soup 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 🅿️ Free on-street parking available outside the restaurant. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Hee Kee Restaurant Warrington 囍記•沃靈頓 Ground Floor, Unit 1, 28-32 Milner St, Warrington WA5 1AD”
