Customer Review Summary

Breakfast is the main draw at Quench & Pickle, with reviewers praising the large portions, the vegan and veggie breakfast, and a regular who comes several times a week and finds it right every time. One diner added extras to a breakfast and the kitchen happily obliged. Close behind are the club sandwich, the fresh soup, the black pudding, and the coffee and cake, along with a filthy chai singled out as a favourite drink. Reviewers describe the atmosphere as friendly, calm, and cozy, with one saying a solo visitor could leave with a new friend. Staff and owners are called kind and helpful. The one caveat comes from a single reviewer who noted a wait for the food, though they felt the taste and quality made up for it. Another close detail: when a drink order was mixed up, a member of staff brought a replacement free of charge.

“A small jewel in Warrington food scene. When it comes to atmosphere and food to match, this the place. I test anyone to order their club sandwich and not walk out satisfied. This has become our new place. It makes you feel comfortable and snug. A got to try for real cafe fans. Nigel”

“It's rare I leave a review, but my experience here was that good. Paul was extremely polite and friendly, and when there was a mix up with one of our drinks so he came over himself to give us another one free of charge. Their drinks were delightful (I recommend the filthy chai!) and the food was perfect; I must say they must have the best black pudding I've had in a long time. I think it goes without saying that I highly encourage anyone looking for a spot of lunch to give Quench & Pickle a look 😋”
  • Adam Iddon

  • Lillian Margaret Allen
“I have been here loads of times and the food in wonderful. I have just had a breakfast couldn't eat it all so much but absolutely goergous. The soup is made like your mum used to make fresh vegetables and goergous chicken etc. The atmosphere is very friendly you could go in on your own and come out with a new friend. Would recommend for coffee cakes and everything xxx”
