Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the draw, with a bacon and egg on a barm called the best butties one reviewer has had in a long time, and another describing a banging breakfast service. Diners also name the mega breakfast, a large breakfast and poached eggs on toast, which one table received piping hot and finished as four clean plates. Several praise the food and the coffee, and most describe proper food at reasonable prices served by friendly staff, though one notes the young woman running the place alone needs a helper. The sharpest criticism comes from one reviewer who found the sandwiches overpriced and plain. The tuna sat on top of the sandwich like a condiment, and the steak sandwich looked nothing like its photo, fell apart when picked up and was mostly salad, with a very small portion of fries. Parking draws comment too. The street is residential only, one reviewer suggests parking at Sankey Valley and walking over, and another received a council parking fine after their visit.

“Lovely scran been working round the corner the young girl running the place by herself needs a helper or a payrise!”

“Overpriced, sandwiches felt like they were done by someone with zero cooking experience. Tuna fish sandwich instead of combining it with the actual tuna you place it on top as a condiment? Steak sandwich for 9 pounds which looked nothing like the image shown, fell apart completely when picking it up, portion was 80% salad 20% steak. Plain, no seasonings, sauce or anything. 3 pounds each for the smallest portion of fries I'd recommend this place only if you enjoy being decieved, parting with your money for the smallest portions and the most plain food imaginable 👍🏼”

“Visited here on Saturday 9th May as we were in Warrington for the Rugby League Semi Final, we walked in and there was a good number of customers having breakfast, we were welcomed by the two ladies who were working there and they found a table for the four of us, they then took our order two mega breakfasts a large breakfast and a poached eggs on toast, a great price for all the food and beverages, we waited only a short amount of time for our piping hot food and drinks to arrive, absolutely great quality ingredients used and we left 4 clean plates, what a fantastic cafe we WILL DEFINITELY visiting again”
