Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise the food, with several calling it the best Indian cooking they have found locally, and one crediting a Nepalese twist that makes traditional dishes fresh and delicious. The Mo Mo and the Rogan Josh lamb shank are singled out, and the chicken pathia, chicken madras and a vegetable curry also draw praise. Close behind is the service, described as friendly, warm and attentive, with staff giving recommendations from the menu and one chef coming to a table to be thanked. Several mention that dishes are made fresh to order and that the prices are very reasonable. A few first-time visitors had driven past or lived nearby for years and wish they had come sooner, while regulars return repeatedly, including one couple who booked a local campsite several times as an excuse to eat here. One diner on a strict low salt and low sugar diet describes the chef making a salt-free chicken korma with brown rice.

“Went for the first time after driving past on many occasions a so very glad we did. Not big eaters so just went for main courses. Mrs had chicken pathia and I had chicken madras both were exceptionally good I even asked to speak to the chef who came to our table and we thanked him for a great meal. Will be going again soon and try one of their lamb dishes.”

“We honestly can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. It is, without a doubt, the best Indian restaurant we’ve ever been to. In fact, we loved it so much that we’ve booked a local campsite four different times just so we have an excuse to come back and eat here! That says everything. The service is always warm, friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the food… wow! Every dish we’ve tried has been absolutely exceptional. The flavours, freshness and presentation are second to none. It’s really disheartening to see the occasional one-star review because it couldn’t be further from our experience. We’ve eaten at so many Indian restaurants over the years, and this one is, by a mile, the best we’ve found. We’ll definitely be back on Friday 18th July or Saturday 19th July, and we can’t wait. Keep doing exactly what you’re doing and don’t let the haters get you down. You’ve got some very loyal customers here! Thank you for another amazing experience. ❤️ Alexandra”

“We are lucky enough to live local to this restaurant and have either dined in or had takeaway in the past. Food is out of this world and the service, is second to none. Friendly, obliging, and genuinely want you to enjoy. Nothing is to much trouble. Tonight we went to dine in and it's the 1st time in 6months. My wife was diagnosed with Cirrhosis so she has a very low salt, sugar and processed food diet. Or she could become very ill. It's hard to eat out, if the places we go are unaccommodating. The chef and all the staff tonight were excellent 👍🏼 advising me what she could eat off the menu, how much salt etc. the chef even made her a chicken korma with no salt. With brown rice, as all white flour, pasta and rice is also banned. My wife was so happy she said it was the best meal she has had and actually tasted in 6 months😆 so thankyou all at 29029. One of the young ladies said in her culture relatives of a deceased loved one gives up salt, sugar and spices as a mark of respect and she hates it. So she was very understanding, as they all were. Thanks guys 👍🏼”
