“We were staying in the cottages adjacent to The Quarryman Inn and had 3 visits, all of them spot on. We had a Sunday lunch which was lovely, an evening meal (try the chicken, ham and leek pie!) and an evening with a couple of drinks. The staff are friendly, polite and chatty and made our visits really enjoyable. Special mention goes to Matt for his super friendly way and his knowledge of local ales. I think he's the root cause of me sampling one too many Padstow Brewery or Bluntrock Brewery Ales which, by the way, are fantastic. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed each visit to The Quarryman Inn and when we return will be visiting again. Thanks Team - 10/10!”

“Called in here for Sunday lunch, lots of choices, everything cooked perfectly, paid £3.50 extra for cauliflower cheese which was delightful. The pub itself was very nice inside and felt relaxing cool on a such an hot day, staff were simply the best. Toilets were very clean and upstairs probably the only thing to consider if you are disabled, otherwise probably one of the best pubs in Cornwall for Sunday lunch.”

“Great atmosphere fantastic food and really friendly staff. We were a group of 4, staying in one of the cottages behind the pub for the Royal Cornwall Show. So glad we booked for the 1st night ,great steaks and a good selection of ales. We decided to book in for another night as well. Delicious whole Dressed crab served with salad and cold new potatoes,bit different but still very good.The pub had a great atmosphere the 2 times we ate here and really recommend a visit.”

“A bit let down on the menu front - found the pub on Google maps and reviewed the menu as posted - on arrival the menu turned up and bore no relation as to what was posted on Google maps - bar staff said there was nothing they could do about that . . . . Realy ? Anyway beautiful looking pub nice choice of beer and cider etc. - Worth a look !”
