  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic service from Isla! We had such a lovely experience, and a huge part of that was down to our wonderful waitress, Isla. She was absolutely brilliant from start to finish — friendly, attentive, professional and genuinely lovely. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made us feel really welcome and looked after throughout our visit. It’s so refreshing to receive service with such a lovely smile and a genuine interest in making sure you have a great time. Isla is a real credit to the team and deserves to be recognised for the fantastic job she does. She really helped make our visit special, and we would definitely come back again. Thank you, Isla!   “Amazing meal, steaks were sublime. Great service. Reasonable price. Only negative was the table for two was a cramped together with two other very close. Apart from that will definitely book again”

  “Overall the experience at Miller and Carter was lovely. The server, Sam, was very accommodating and her service was great. The food took a while to arrive and my steak was supposed to be rare but was more medium; but due to the wait I didn’t ask for it to be changed. We were a table of 9, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Would definitely visit again.”

  “Our server Katy was an absolute delight. Very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was severed in a timely manner, steak cooked to our requested temperatures. atmosphere.. huge venue however quiet, could have done with some background music when not many people are in. Overall absolutely lovely Sunday lunch.”

  “Great service from our steak expert Michaela at the Taunton branch. Friendly, informative and efficient we couldn't have asked for better for our anniversary meal. Steaks as always were cooked exactly how we asked for them to be done and all sides were delicious too. A little surprise of mini desserts for our anniversary was a great touch. Highly recommend.”

  “We visited on Sunday 31st, Jess was our server, she was excellent she really looked after us, she was a credit to M&C. Our meal was amazing I tried a Pork Tomahawk oh my goodness never have I had such delicious and beautiful tender pork, every part of our meal was perfect.”

  “My husband and I were on a date night here and was told that this place is amazing and.....it didn't disappoint. From when we first walked in, the lady at the front reception was amazing, showed us to our seats (we booked a table on line) and told us that a steak expert would be over to take orders and explain the menu if needed. Shortly afterwards a lovely man named Bertrand came over and was brilliant with a smile from the get go. He was funny, tended to our needs when we needed it and genuinely cared about our experience and making sure it was positive. Bertrand said if we need him, just wave and when we did wave at him, he would wave back with a giant smile and come over when he was available. The food was very "wow" my husband and I both had the 12oz sirloin steak medium rare with beef dripping sauce (absolutely yum) with a side order of veg/fries and they both came with the most amazing, refreshing, crunchy lettuce with burnt chilli and crispy onion sauce (you get to choose which sauce you want on your lettuce) and it sounds crazy but it was the best lettuce I have ever tasted. The steak was thick, juicy and exactly how I wanted it to be done....I am never ordering a steak anywhere else ever again, honestly I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Great selection of drinks too alcoholic or non alcoholic and we were offered bottled water as soon as we sat down. To end the night we had dessert and what I love about the menu is that I can have a tea or coffee with a miniature version of their dessert. So instead of having a full sized white chocolate creme brulee, I can have a coffee with a miniature version of that dessert which is exactly what I did. We wanted to give a tip but we didn't have the option to do that when paying by card which is a shame as we definitely would have. We especially want to thank Bertrand for making our evening and the whole experience incredible, we are extremely grateful. This place may be seen as expensive but the food is fresh and incredible quality, cooked to perfection and given a lot of other food with your steak, you are treated like royalty when you step through that door all the way until you leave. We felt like we were in a 5 star restaurant, we will definitely be back again. Thank you all so so much! from the cooks to the wonderful staff serving in the restaurant...thank you 😃”
