  “Absolutely Incredible! I have been meaning to visit Bare Grills for a while after passing it almost every time I visit Taunton. I finally made the decision to book a table and all 4 of us had a great time and the food was outstanding. I went for the Pit Tray which had a bit of everything and it was all amazing! I would highly recommend ‘Bare Grills’ to anyone that loves BBQ It’s a solid 10/10 from me!”

  “We visited on our holiday. Found this place online. Absolutely delicious food and outstanding service. Really good portions of food, full of flavor and Kids absolutely loved it too. Lovely atmosphere, super friendly staff and very attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our food. We will definitely be returning at some point.”

  “I had a wonderful meal at Bare Grills last night. The service was absolutely brilliant - attentive but not overbearing - and they were also incredibly kind about my dairy intolerance, reassuring me that what I'd ordered definitely was dairy free without me having to ask, and then making sure I was aware of the dairy-free dessert option (which was delicious!) The food was piping hot and so tasty. When the time came for us to leave, every member of staff said thank you which made us feel like we had been truly welcome there. I wouldn't hesitate in returning again!”

  “What a wonderful treat! We were in the area for a birthday and found Bare Grills on a Google search. We booked in advance and were greeted and served by the wonderful Charelle. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. The service and atmosphere was just what we were hoping for. Also caters to dairy free which was brilliant.”

  “The photos I have added are of my own smokingnefforts in an attempt to give some credence to my review.I did try to convey my disappointment to staff, and this is written by a person who is competent at smoking meat with a Diablo BBQ and has operated a long time ago in pub/food management......This second visit to celebrate my daughters birthday is in contrast to my first in which I praised the restaurant. It was not full.We were seated by the door on a very cold evening when we asked if we could take a separate table away from the door-we were refused. This made for a very uncomfortable evening especially as the take-a-way delivery drivers were quite busy. We would have liked a plate of hallloumi fries as a starter to share, we were refused, "we don't do starters". I could have said, that's my order then ordered more food-I am mystified. We ordered the BBQ tower for two which arrived at least 1/2 hour after ordering. The good: fries; onion rings; pulled pork. The rest: burger barely warm dry tasted ok; ribs extremely dry but hot we only ate one rib each; burnt ends small and indistinguishable from the pulled pork; corn on the cob cold but cooked well. I think we boxed and took away 2/5's of our order. Desert, we both had sundaes. My daughter enjoyed her bi-scoff, I found the Snickers un-inspiring, there is no flavour to the ice cream. We were asked about sauces, they all arrived, however two of them were not open-it's very difficult to open cellophane with greasy finger and the table was so cramped. We were asked if the food was ok, I had a mouth full but the staff member was so quick that I could't reply. We asked for the desert menu, we had to ask for drinks, no offer of additional napkins and we were not asked if we wanted more drinks. Whilst the staff were perfectly polite they appear to be poorly trained. Approaching the till we were asked how the meal was, I replied "ok at best, would you like a list?". We also explained that the visit was very different to last time and was told "a lot of people say the same thing". It was quite clear that she was not dismissive but sympathetic and left me with the impression that my comments would make no difference. Had I been given the opportunity to speak to someone I would have included that and any response here. I removed the service charge and left a small tip on the table which I felt more reflective of the service. I wonder, do deliveries take priority over the sitting diners. Would I recommend this place...hmm...I really don't know, but we are unlikely to return. I would not say don't go however, make your own mind up.”

  “Very popular smoke house and justifiably so. Huge portions. We had the sharers option for two, and there was enough for four. Sadly, neither of us could finish the meal because there was so much food. It was delicious. All of it. We'll definitely be going back.”

  “Wow where do I start! An incredible barbecue type dinner. We had the combo for one and and the Bare Grill burger. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted incredible. Highly recommend the ribs and the milkshakes were amazing too :)”

  “I tried the Kinder Bueno shake, which was delightful, and the pulled pork with dirty fries - an absolute winner. The food was mouthwatering and left me thoroughly satisfied. To top it off, the staff were brilliant, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious comfort food and great service!”
