Reviewers most often mention chow mein, undercooked chicken, sweet and sour combo and tofu dish.
Customer Review Summary
Reviews split sharply, and the most repeated complaint is poor chicken, described as undercooked, slimy cubes in a curry, as old and tough, and as horrible alongside two cold, slimy chow mains. A sweet and sour combo arrived undercooked with a basic sauce, and one reviewer found a lemon sauce that tasted like washing up liquid. Others call the food dry and flavourless, with pastries that were mostly batter and no filling, and crab soup that tasted like crab sticks. Several say refund requests were refused, and one was told they would be charged for a re-sent order plus delivery. Wait times drew mixed remarks, with one reviewer given a half hour quote that ran longer, though another says staff phone to keep them informed. On the positive side, one reviewer calls it far the best Chinese they have tried, with tasteful food and quick service, and another singles out the tofu dish as a new favourite while wishing vegan dishes were labelled apart from vegetarian ones. One vegetarian was refused a portion of salt and pepper mushrooms.

“Always prompt on the phone, good food, great delivery service but sometimes a bit longer than hoped but not a problem as they call to keep me informed.”

“Used to come here years ago but stopped for whatever reason, decided to give it another go last night and although the food was okay nothing too special, I wasn’t happy with the service. We’d asked if they would be able to do a portion of salt and pepper mushrooms but they refused even though there’s mushrooms in other dishes on the menu and there’s also salt and pepper options too. Seemed lazy and wasn’t very mindful to their vegetarian customers so they’ve lost stars for that.”

“Distgusting chicken if that's what you can call it curry. Threw it all in the bin undercooked slimey cubes of meat in a sauce worried about getting food poisoning after tasting a small amount waste of £4.90.Will definitely never be eating from here again. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.”

“Honest review I would not go anywhere else. me and hubby have ordered from many different Chineses and this is far far by the best. The food is so tasteful and the service is quick. They deserve more than 5 stars”

“I can see why some customers have complained about the time given compared to the time taken. I phoned just before 8pm and was told half hour. I went round at 830 and was told about a minute, so I paid the After 8 minutes I questioned where was the food. Two minutes later it was ready. The food was good, but a little bland. I added spicy and a soy sauce. I've had better and worse, probably give it another chance.”
