About Kenzo 72
Kenzo 72 is a steak house in Swindon at 18 Wood St, open daily and built around all-you-can-eat steak that guests cook themselves at the table on a hot stone. Diners choose sirloin or ribeye, and a fresh hot stone is brought with each new round. The deal runs as a 90-minute sitting, with food ordered in multiple rounds, and the whole party must order the same thing. A salad bar sits alongside the steak, and the sauce selection includes chimichurri and a red wine and port steak sauce. Triple-cooked chips are one of the sides. Flaked salt arrives in a side pot.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers center on the all-you-can-eat steak, with sirloin or ribeye cooked at the table on a hot stone, and several single out the ribeye as the standout. Close behind are the sides and sauces: triple-cooked chips, garlic mushrooms, onion rings, a chimichurri one reviewer calls full of flavour, and a red wine and port steak sauce. Ribs, chicken wings, a salad bar and a crème brûlée also earn praise, and one reviewer names the calamari. Service is described repeatedly as friendly and attentive, with staff asking whether to bring more and, per one diner, a fresh hot stone each round. Two reviewers travelled over an hour and felt it paid off. The recurring drawbacks are practical: one reviewer says cooking on the stones creates smoke and the ventilation struggles to clear it, another notes the whole party must order the same steak deal, and one says a server tried to overcharge them, which they accepted was an error. Portions are big enough that several managed only two rounds, and one described struggling to finish the second.

“Highly recommended: good value, nice decor, tasty food, happy vibe. Menu was great with good prices, then I noticed their hot stone eat-all-you-want steak and sides. Sirloin or Rib Eye and plenty sides, and a salad bar if needed! I arrived hungry but only managed 2 rounds: I let myself down, my family, my dog 😔 Crème Brûlée was the best I've had in the UK. Service was great, especially from the French sounding Polish women (until she tried to over-charge me, which I'll accept was in error 🤔). Wine was good and cheaper than in the pub.”

“Booked a table for my 4 year anniversary, when we arrive and was promptly seated. After reading some of the previous reviews, we were shocked to find out they were all crud, as the service was top notch, and we were fully looked after the entire time we were there! Can't fault the food either, and yes the steak was done by us at out table, this was a truly amazing experience! Can honestly say we will be back again!”

“Back home after travelling over an hour to visit this amazing place! Wow, absolutely blown away with everything about it and well worth the drive. From the minute you walk through the doors you are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The atmosphere is incredible, perfect lighting, temperature, background music and decor. The food is the best I have had in a very long time. Cooking the steak yourself on the hot stone is a lovely way to eat your steak. Lovely salad bar, and so much choice on the menu. Service was top notch, they don’t even add on a service charge but trust me you will want to tip the staff well. They work so hard, always there ready to bring you more food. 90 minutes of pure heaven. Leave room for dessert if you can as it is well worth it. Will definitely be going back and I would encourage everyone to give this wonderful place a try. Thank you to the amazing staff tonight especially to the lovely Manager who looked after us so very well!”

“I recently visited Kenzo72, and overall it was a really enjoyable dining experience with just one minor drawback. The standout positives were definitely the staff and the food. The team were welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and well looked after. As for the food, it was genuinely impressive. The all-you-can-eat offering gives you plenty of choice, including ribeye and sirloin steaks that you cook yourself on hot stones—great for getting your steak exactly how you like it. Alongside the steaks, there’s a solid range of sides and extras: ribs, chicken, triple-cooked chips, fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, garlic mushrooms, mac and cheese, plus a selection of sauces to top it all off. Everything felt well-prepared and full of flavour, making it easy to ask for more. The only downside was the ventilation. Cooking your own steak on hot stones is a fun concept, but it does create quite a bit of smoke, and the lack of proper airflow made it noticeable at times. Price-wise, it sits between £29.50 and £33.50 depending on the day and time, which feels reasonable given the quality and variety on offer. Overall, if you’re a steak lover and enjoy a more interactive dining experience, Kenzo72 is definitely worth a visit. I will definitely be back when I am next in the area. There are two car park within a 5 mins walk which made it easy.”
