“Unfortunately our experience was below standard. The food arrived cold and unpalatable, the waitress dealt with it quickly and brought us a replacement meal , which was hot but the food was pretty tasteless and parsnips under cooked. The meat was over cooked and tough/dry. The waitress was great and removed the charge for our meals. The manager didn’t come over to us to apologize or look to keep our service for the future. We are unlikely to visit again. It’s expensive to eat out nowadays and good food and service is important.”

“Chef's bad day at the office... Up till 6 months ago this was the best steak house in town, but unfortunately yesterday the food was pretty poor - sorry. Starters: Sticky chicken starter had lots of gristle in, and my wife's rosemary bread came without drizzle. Mains: My steak was dry, the salad BATHED in olive oil (which I chose not to eat), and the peppercorn sauce was oily instead of creamy. My wife's ribs were so dry we actually sent them back. Desserts: My brownie and ice cream? Came without ice cream and had to remind staff. My wife's apple pie seemed very Costco, sprinkled with cinnamon; stodgy and pastry was soggy. I don't know what was up but we'll try breakfast next time, and if it hasn't improved then we'll go elsehwere. Really disappointed. The waitress was very apologetic which was nice, but to be honest you go to a restaurant for food, not apologies.”
