About wagamama swindon designer outlet
Wagamama Swindon Designer Outlet is a restaurant in Swindon, and it is the Swindon branch of the Wagamama brand. It sits inside the Swindon Designer Outlet shopping centre, which puts a meal within the outlet itself for people spending time there. Noodles are the dish the restaurant puts forward. A set lunch menu is listed as its own menu, giving lunchtime guests a dedicated option to order from. The branch uses the designer outlet as its listed street address, so the shopping centre is where to find it.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out friendly staff, though the food draws plenty of praise too, with the yaki soba, shrimp firecracker, chicken ramen with an egg, bao buns and gyoza all described as fresh, delicious or very good. Close behind are the drinks and dessert: a strawberry matcha drink that won over a reviewer who usually dislikes matcha, a cherry blossom lemonade, and a white chocolate cheesecake shared after a set lunch. Several mention generous portions and quick, welcoming service even when busy, and one says drinks arrived within two minutes. The complaints are specific. One reviewer was told the wrap menu is not served on a Saturday, found that restriction absent from the menu, and called the server extremely rude for not asking the chef. Another found the waitress unfriendly and options limited with allergies. One notes only two unisex toilets plus a disabled toilet, with a long wait in a quiet restaurant. One says staff are not always happy with cash payments. Another reviewer was pleased to be offered a shady outdoor spot for a dog.

“I went on Saturday lunch time. The lunch menu states Monday to Friday. But not the lunch exclusive menu which serves wraps etc. when I mentioned that to the server, she was extremely rude. And did not even consider asking the chef if he would be able to make a wrap?! Firstly it's definitely not stated on the lunch exclusive menu part that it's Monday to Friday only. Secondly, staff should serve with a smile and be customer friendly. Not rude like some of the serving staff at Swindon branch. Thirdly why not ask the chef? What is wrong with being customer orientated?”

“Chippi and his team do a great job here. Super friendly and helpful. Great food. The best Wagamama I’ve been to, and a fine choice when visiting Swindon.”

“Just trying to find a shade for my cavapoo and Wagamama had the outdoor spot. Friendly staff who came over to ask if I wanted anything. Though I just had juice and cucumber salad this time, Wagamama food is always yummy but the friendly approach was very much appreciated.”

“We stopped by Wagamama while at the outlet recently. We were a little disappointed to find they no longer serve our favourite drink, the Spicy Plum, but the cherry blossom lemonade was a nice, refreshing alternative. 🌸 We stuck with our usual staples the bao buns and some gyoza 😍 which were both very good. In fact, we enjoyed the meal so much that we almost forgot to take a photo. It was a pleasant lunch and a reliable choice for a break during our shopping.”

“This will not always be the cheapest option for eating out, but is a very good example of the saying that you get what you pay for. Food here always tastes as good as it looks and the portion sizes will not leave you looking for more at the end of the meal. Friendly staff finish this one nicely. Worth going a bit out of your way to eat here. Just a note that they are not always happy with cash payments. I'm kind of getting used to that now, but it might still be an issue for some.”
