  “I can’t fault Jimmys Kebabs my go to place when I can’t be bothered to cook after doing a late shift in work always knows what I want and always get greeted with a smile this is the place to go in Swindon if you want a kebab they cater for everyone”

  “After seeing the positive reviews I decided to try this kebab van today, just before midnight (a good hour before they close). Reviews promised the best kebab in Swindon but I have to strongly disagree. The two men working there seemed polite and who knows, maybe the food is decent enough earlier in the day. I ordered a chicken wrap and chips, they asked if I wanted regular or large size, I choose regular. After ordering I looked at the menu to caculate the price as I had to get change out of my van, I was surprised that they charged me £12.50 because that is not what my math added up to. It was late, I was tired and not going to start arguing over a few pounds, in case I miscalculated. But getting home and checking again to write this review I can see the menu someone posted 10 months ago. According to the picture of the menu a small (not regular, as they menu says small and large) wrap is £7 and the regular chips are £3.50, that's £10.50, not £12.50. If the food had been as good as the reviews hyped it up to be I could have let it slide. But the chips undercooked and so soft that you could fold them in half without breaking. I live just down the road so it wasn't condensation soggyness but them not being cooked enough. In addition to that there was not enough meat in the wrap, which was also not chicken kebab but (kinda dry) chunks that they cook on the stove top and the flavour is not that of a turkish kebab, instead tasting like south asian spices. Maybe if the reviews hadn't promised the best kebab in Swindon, or maybe if I had gone an hour early the experience would have been different. But as things are I would not recommend this place and I won't order here again.”

  “always buy from here, never had any problems before. two new guys, both were nice and busy with customers. didn’t have to wait long for my order and was given a free can which was appreciated. however one meal was made incorrectly, even double checked with the guy serving me who reassured me everything was made as ordered - it wasn’t. another meal was made in a way that made it difficult to eat which ended up unfolding and made a mess. hopefully this is just a one time hiccup because genuinely love this place. would recommend that staff double check orders are taken and made correctly before selling 🙏”
