About The Ridge (Shaw Ridge)
The Ridge, set on Shaw Leisure Park in Swindon, is a bar and grill that also operates as a delivery and takeout restaurant. Burgers anchor the menu, and gluten-free options are available across it. Cocktails and a small draught beer selection are served behind the bar, with walk-in seating alongside the takeout and delivery service. The venue runs a regular car meet and caters well to families with young children. Service can run slowly when the car meet days fill the room.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers single out the food as the main draw, with the burgers and gluten-free menu getting particular mention, and cocktails drawing praise too. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, kind, and accommodating with children. Service can slow when busy, and one diner calls the food quality abysmal, while another flags the toilets as needing attention. Beer selection is a recurring gripe. Several recommend booking ahead.

“Fantastic food from a great local business. Whenever you go, you are always made to feel welcome. Even with young children, nothing is too much trouble. Will continue to support, thank you everyone for a great family meal yet again.”

“Food was really good - we had burgers that were tasty - service was prompt too. Big letdown was the draught beers - really small selection of subpar obscure tapped beer - no genuine premium tier one lagers - no tapped Guinness just some poor substitute cans. Guinness is the number one beer by popularity in UK and favoured by the age cohort this place clearly attracts. The lager I had was not even served up cold on a hot summers day. Come on guys up your game in this regard - get some proper beer selection and keep the draught beers cold and you will benefit with greater custom in the long run.”

“Toilets need cleaning or changing food and drinks really good”
