  “The food was rather bland and plain. Very nondescript. In the evenings there seems little choice and this seemed like a good option. In no rush to dine here again. Drinks and service generally good.”

  “Waiter does not even seem professional literally picked from the streets. Can’t even be gluten free anymore, why is an 8 quid toastie look like shit, cheese not even toasted, not even grilled just used a toaster and presentation is straight out of the picture. At this point don’t preach about being gluten free because why is my toastie burnt loaf bread, not even sourdough, at least let the consumer know what they’re getting into.”

  “We visit the Curio Lounge on an almost weekly basis. The food is consistently great, drinks are good and service is always friendly. Great kids menu and love they have some toys for them to play with too. Brilliant vegan and vegetarian options.”

  “Such a lovely place aesthetically! But that’s it! It’s basically self service at the table with QR codes and food is brought over. Food comes at different times. Some was cold. You have no designated waiter so you’re constantly trying to find one. You have to keep requesting for ketchup or cutlery. One waitress was actually rude and banged the ketchup on the table lol Multiple peoples orders were forgotten. Food came cold and unseasoned. The only highlight was the passion fruit mojitos were actually really nice! Please don’t order the Pina Colada’s. Toilets were unclean. They add a tip or service charge which you can decline..for what I don’t know as the service was abysmal .Would not return.”

  “Went in here on a chance looking for a coffee and enjoyed a delicious different breakfast. I had the quesadilla my husband had the full English. Loved the extensive menu. Wishing we lived nearer as we would visit often. Tapas looked very inviting . The indoor decor was amazing and added to the ambience. The building was a snooker hall, didn't look a lot from outside but once in and the upstairs were beautifully adorned. Would highly recommend and it was very busy when we were there on a Sunday and service was good.”

  “Love the layout of this place, it has a great atmosphere. A extensive menu with lovely sounding dishes - if you can't pick one, you're likely to find it in the tapas section (3 for £12.75). The nasi goreng was delicious!! Nice touch that the dogs were able to come in too 😊👌”

  “Several visits a month for the last three years. Always reliably comfortable, welcoming and delicious. Perfect after a night out if you're feeling a little fragile, or if you just want to feel at home. Try the lounge breakfast, the triple stack pancakes or the fresh OJ. Thanks Curio!”

  “Lovely and lively restaurant. Clearly very popular with the locals, especially families with young children. Staff are friendly and the food was really good. The only down side is that the service was quite slow. We really enjoyed our lunchtime meal and came back the next day for breakfast. Enjoyed both! Very good vegan options (they also cater for Gluten Free)”
