Customer Review Summary

Harissa chicken is the dish reviewers name most, served as a grill or a bowl, with the shakshuka close behind. One describes the chicken shakshuka as spicy with a rich tomato sauce. Others praise the kebabs, a lamb burger, chicken schnitzel, spiced oyster mushroom and blueberry chia pancakes at brunch, alongside brilliant coffee and a ginger shot. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, and the room is described as beautiful, calming and cosy. Two hosts of group events, a client dinner and an engagement party, credit the team with smooth organisation, delicious canapés and good drinks service. The criticism is specific. One diner found the Spiced Lamb and Beef Arayes Burger extremely dry and apparently reheated, and also cited small portions, slow service and a price that did not match the quality. Others call the drinks a bit pricey, the blueberry compote on the pancakes too sweet, and the coffee beans slightly over roasted. One diner who ordered the Turkish eggs was told by a waitress that they contain pork paste, and the chefs left it out of the dish.

“Despite the price and the small portion sizes, the quality unfortunately wasn’t there. I ordered the Spiced Lamb and Beef Arayes Burger, and it was extremely dry and looked as though it had been reheated. I’ve attached photos for reference. On the positive side, the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, and the staff were extremely polite and welcoming. However, the service was quite slow. Overall, I expected better quality considering the price.”

“I cannot thank the manager and the entire team enough for making our evening an absolute success. I was hosting a group of clients, and when an unexpected situation arose, the manager literally saved the night! Her incredible flexibility, warm hospitality, and quick thinking turned what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless experience. Beyond the outstanding service, the quality of the food was top-tier. Every dish served was delicious, beautifully presented, and highly appreciated by all my guests. The attentive staff made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. A huge, special thank you to the manager and the entire staff for going above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for phenomenal food and truly exceptional service. We will definitely be back!”

“Food is amazing. We had 3 starters and 3 mains. Kebabs, chicken bowl and lamb burger were superb! The service was incredible, Donata was very caring and patient with us, as well as professional. Drinks are a bit pricey though, but definitely we will be back!”
